Hello, as you should already know I am your Imperator. Essentially the purpose of this finely crafted manual is to make sure everyone follows the rules and to make sure everyone knows what is expected of them. First off, let me state one simple fact that you might not have realized upon joining this clan. It's hard, you're going to want to quit on us many times. This clan is not some simple clan where you can goof off. Our training is hard, fine tuned, and organized. We are a highly disciplined military and to become like us you must work hard. Now, lets get on to what you actually care about, the manual. ================================================================================= //:Index
1 - Ranks 2 - Rules 3 - Mainframe 4 - Expectations 5 - Promotion System ================================================================================= //:Ranks
【Select - Templar】: These are the ranks of our soldiers. As you progress it shows us your skill and contributions to our clan. Only the truly dedicated will make it far in this clan. These ranks are normally an assortment of moderately skilled people to really skilled people. The higher you go, the more skilled people you'll find. Templars must pass a testing phase to move up to Warlord.
【Emissary】: These are representatives of allied clans.
【Warlord - General】: Here it gets more interesting. These are the ranks of the clan for the military leaders. They don't make clan decisions, but they handle the warfare of the clan. They keep the military in top shape and strategize during war planning. The higher you climb in the grand pyramid of ranks, the more authority you get.
【Noble Council - Imperator】: These are the two leader ranks of the empire. The Noble Council acts as top military leaders as well as rule makers(rulers). They vote on new laws to be passed, once a voting is finished the Imperator makes the final decision. Essentially these are the ruler ranks of the clan. PS: "PinGroups" is shortPinman. ================================================================================= //:Rules
►No messing around in any group places or in group uniform. (Examples: Jumping around in line, spamming, flaming of any kind, oding, making the clan look bad in anyway) Members are always expected to speak in team chat at non private group places. Only exception is for members ranked Warlord and up who are expected to be good examples for the lower ranks.
►Wear uniform to all group events and when at any group places.
►Respect all members, not just higher ranks. Also show respect to enemies and allies alike. If enemies/allies flame, let the leaders handle it.
►Respect the rules, failure to follow any of these rules will result in immediate demotion/exile depending on severity.
►Address all leaders by their rank. (Example: Warlord PErso, Colonel Shedletsky, General Shedletsky)
►Faces are allowed but not to be abused.
►Abusing admin is prohibited, the only use of it should be rule enforcement.
►Demoting members without reason is prohibited.
►Promoting members without reason is prohibited.
►All changes to a member's career status is required to be recorded in the mainframe.
►Lower ranks are not to speak unless spoken to or asked to speak.
►The highest rank in a server is only one allowed to speak. Exceptions: Event host being lower rank than highest rank may still speak. Leader ranks may speak if they ask for permission. This rule does not apply if the highest rank is a soldier rank. This rule does not apply if the soldiers are "at-ease"(Leader allowing them to "relax". Lower rank may say "PTS?" one time if they really need to say/ask something. If they say/ask something stupid he/she will be punished for wasting time and acting foolish.
►Foul language is prohibited.
►Packages that block uniform are prohibited. ================================================================================= //:Mainframe
The Vârcolac mainframe is an interesting piece of technology scripted by WIJ. This mainframe is where Vârcolac leaders store all their information about the "careers" of Vârcolac. The "careers" are essentially records of every member in Vârcolac.
About RP:
RP stands for "Raid Points". You gain RP by attending raids and winning. If you attend a raid and we lose, you lose RP. All members before a raid, while at rally, must have their name recorded in a notepad document or some other way for the leader to keep track of who attended. Then at end of raid, those that attended must return. If raid was a loss, all on list lose 1 RP. If raid was won, all those on list gain 1 RP. If someone on list didn't return after raid, we will assume they fled during raid and that person will lose 1 RP. The mainframe is where the leaders give/take RP to/from members of the group. The mainframe keeps track of it and tells us who to promote/demote based on how much RP they gained or lost. As a low rank, getting demoted from RP loss isn't as serious as being demoted for behavior, so do not be upset with this kind of demotion, just try again. The ranks in Vârcolac are meant to show skill, those doing well in raids will normally help us win and be higher ranked than those doing bad in raids.
About Suspensions: When a member of Vârcolac is to be demoted for behavior reasons, leader ranks must access the mainframe and recommend that member for a demotion. If one of the Ruler ranks sees this and agrees to it, that leader will then suspend the member and demote him/her. Then tell him/her why he/she is suspended and for how long. If a suspended member tries to attend a raid or training, he/she will be exiled for not obeying orders.
About Training Process: The Training Process is essentially the process in which Templars must go through to reach the rank of Warlord. If a leader rank feels a Templar is ready to begin this training process, then in the main frame that leader must mark it on the career. A Ruler rank will then read it and see what to do from there.
About Priorities: If there is an urgent reason that a leader rank needs a certain career viewed by a ruler rank, than that commander rank can mark it as a priority. ================================================================================= //:Expectations
All members of Vârcolac are expected to be active and disciplined. By disciplined we refer to how well they obey our rules and orders. Failure to meet our expectations will often result in exile. All military members of Vârcolac must have Vârcolac as their primary group to show their loyalty to us. ================================================================================= //:Promotion System
How to be promoted:
►Attend a raid that wins, must attend from the very beginning to the very end. If the raid is a loss, you will lose a raid point. If the raid is a win you will gain a raid point. If you leave early and the raid is a loss you will lose a raid point just like those who stayed(even if you leave before raid starts)
►Showing a lot of skill. If you show a lot of skill and show that you are truly superior to the others in skill, leadership, maturity, and discipline you may have the honor of receiving a promotion through a way other than raiding. In order to keep you from having to gain the same amount of RP as you would if you earned the promotion through raiding, more RP will be added to your career so that you may start from that new rank point and try to earn enough RP for next rank. ================================================================================= |
