Let's be honest. Everyone in the clan world who has been in or lead a group has made on of these faults. No one is safe from these kinds of things, and the clan world needs a wake-up call from more then 5 people. Let's start with some simple things:
1. Inactivity: Do not even try it. There's atleast ONE group that you don't bother to check every time you get on roblox. There's atleast ONE group that you've left because of this. Clan members can't help but be inactive at some point, but even worst, they can't admit it like the people who 'formally' resign. Clan leaders are no different. It's one thing to put school or life over roblox, but it's another to just abandon your group. Clan members need a legit activity check that will follow through, and not just be an empty threat.
2. Bad leadership: There's so much to cover under this that it mine as well be a 'Bill of rights'. I can list the main points, but I cannot give you everything you want to hear: -Flaming on forums and causing the group's reputation to drop -Adding unbalanced updates to servers that cause a mishap in training and the servers -AA, Flame, being AWs, Spamming, Haxing, 3xploiting, etc. -Making OP updates to bases that give an unfair advantage to the home team -Not admitting defeat/calling an Auto-win -Leaving the group to someone else without a formal goodbye or a reason
3. Wars: Wars are nice. They bring a group together, put checks on other groups, and set a standard for active members. Their intent is always good, but people take it WAY to far. I've seen raids where people use animation exploits to give themselves an edge, and the admins who are online do nothing but shoot them the ":kick [name]" excuse. Raids also contain alot of AA, which makes alot of people question HRs, and lots of unbalance. Wars are no different, as the multiple battles are always 'recorded', and debate is spread out over months over a 10-20 day war.
4. HRs: I sort-fo-kinda-maybe went over this in the last section. HRs really have a standard to meet that they almost ALWAYS avoid. They disrespect their lower ranks, AA, stay inactive for long periods without a valid reason, and tend to be bishy all together. SOME HRs are actually legit, but the rest just seem to bring the group down
5. LR/MR Respect: LRs and MRs just dont respect anyone anymore, do they? They just get mad and flame the HRs who do or don't do their job. It's honestly sad. No one is safe from their idiocity.
6. Reliability: In almost every other situation where there is conflict between an HR and a LR/MR, the LR/MR is actually right. HRs tend to get hot-headed and in a state of 'Im to good for you bish' attitude. HRs should see the idealism and respect that some LRs give them, and take it to heart.
7. 'Training': Training, in reality, is just a sad excuse for playing games and getting a rank up. There's no direction, no skill, just people mashing buttons and hoping they learn seomthing from it. #Bringbackthe[game]tag
This is all I have to say for now. I may put in another post later with even MORE input. I want to hear your opinions for now.
TL;DR: Bro, you wish. Just read it and weep. |
