not much of a shocker
any team will throw money at a guy who won a triple crown
they just locked him down for basically the rest of his career |

ive always thought the mlb needed a salary cap
i do even more today
cabrera may be a sub par hitter in 5 years for all we know
i can understand in the $200 mil range, but almost $300 mil is way too much |

if the teams didn't have the money they wouldn't pay him 300 million |

is nobody getting at what i'm saying?
baseball players and athletes in general are being paid way too much. just my personal opinion.
i can understand maybe mid 200 range, but almost 300 mil is just outrageous
meanwhile you have people who are busting their rear ends in the real world and barely get by
it's just a bit much for my liking |
