Imagine being the sickest you've ever been. You're laying over the toilet feeling like you're just about to vomit every single meal you've ever eaten. But nothing ever happens. You just lay there, anxiously, feeling so nauseous, but nothing ever happens. Then imagine feeling this way and having to go on with your daily life. Welcome to my living nightmare.
I have had to put up with that for almost 3 years now. Been to countless doctors, every single one refusing to even LISTEN to my list of symptoms, and prescribing me countless medications that do nothing! Because they aren't for nausea! Not one has bothered to refer me to a specialist. Until last month. This is the first doctor I have been to since I moved back to Tennessee. She ACTUALLY listened to me, and admitted she didn't know what was going on. She then happily referred me to a specialist.
This was in February. I was supposed to go to the specialist today. Obviously I didn't. It was actually scheduled for next month. I was looking forward to today so much. I though today would be one of answers, or the beginning of tests to lead me to answers. BUT NO! According to the "specialist" having your life ruined, not being able to do the things you love, or even go out to eat, because you feel like you're going to throw up, and having a fear of vomiting develop because of it aren't important! I have been dealing with this crap for 3 years now! 3 years is long enough! I shouldn't have to wait this long for something as awful as this. Even though I'm not laying on the floor screaming in pain, it's still not something someone should have to go through for this long! It's driving me insane. |

You're right. I'm just pretty upset because I thought that today I would finally get answers, and finding out I have to wait another month is maddening. |

balls. utter balls. Your just pathetic.
Try having a seizure and getting diagnosed with brain cancer. Now theres a living bloody nightmare. The after effects of treatment are a living nightmare and I have to live with this bullcrap the rest of my life. Theres no cure, no specialist to see that can ease my problems. No way to turn back time and regain what I had.
try living your life knowing every day your nothing but a shadow of what you could have been.
then moan about living nightmares. |

@Father There you go off with that whole "Some people have worse problems so yours doesn't matter" thing. Living nightmares are living nightmares. Unending nausea and related things, as well as the rest of things the OP described, while less nightmarish than what you described, are still horrible. Even an hour of nausea is horrible. Having things go up from where they normally go down is horrible. Simply put, by trying to belittle someone with a worse sob story, you are therefore less of a person than they ever were.

My sister used to have this problem. She told me she used to have terrible stomachaches and she would feel nauseous all the time. Instead of taking some pills or something, she stopped eating meat products. She turned vegetarian and hasn't had any problems since then.
You might want to try it out. You might love meat, but taking it out of your diet could help. After three years of that, aren't you willing to try it out? |

Well I have problems such as my brain doesn't tell me when I need to drink and I pass out a lot, My stomach POPS for no reason and when it does, it really hurts.
I've been to doctors and I only got answers to one of my problems.
I know how you feel and I feel sorry for you.
