Unless you're using a device that enables touch screen features, windows 8 is complete trash.
>> Also, the windows 8.1 update, which makes windows 8 somewhat decent, has spyware from Microsoft embedded in it. |

I'll admit, on a technical level it is alright.
However in terms of convenience it is a little low. But that's just me. |

how about a toolbar that doesn't show up alarmingly and cover the whole screen hence the whole reason windows 8 is bad because in 7 you can still see your desktop while searching on your computer for files

| The update without a doubt has spyware embedded in it, which Microsoft is infamous for embedding--They watch what you do in the terms of your OS's legitimacy, Microsoft programs' legitimacy, and for advertising purposes. |

Obtaining proof all depends on your operating system experience--Have you gotten any advertisements that are a pain to rid of? Or better yet, have you gotten advertisements solely from the Microsoft Corporation?
>> Their implanted spyware is only a precaution to check your legitimacy as one of their users; so as long as you're doing things by the book, Microsoft will stay off of your case. |

| Yep, much like most of their operating systems--They'll distribute it in its early phase, give you updates and patches, and lastly embed spyware. |
