To all of you people that will take this half seriously,
I want to hear opinions regarding Crimea. I've heard what my Co-Workers in the army have said, and the occasional intelligent post on Roblox.
I want to see what all of you think.
Personally, I support everything Russia has done up to this point. I'm keeping it that brief for now, though you can find 3 paragraph posts from me on other threads. |

I'm not expecting all of the responses to be legit.
However there are other people such as me that are actually into politics, and I want to get some of them together, and see what they say. |

There is no democracy when the barrel of a gun is pressed to your head.
Russia is pretty much doing the modern version of what a certain chancellor of germany once did. Except this time it's without shots fired, because every news camera is pointed at them.
If Russia wanted Crimea back, instead of marching an army into it, surrounding military bases and demanding the surrender of military vessels, and THEN conducting a "democratic vote", they should've just demanded the vote in the first place.
Russia is entirely at fault because their leader has no idea what he's doing and thinks he can get away with pretty much anything.
The USA doesn't either but that's another matter altogether. |

I'm pretty sure Pearl Harbor showed the world what happens when you attack us, hoping we'll stay out of a war.
That and 9/11, though we kind of wasted out time in the middle-east. <- That's coming from a soldier, so that's EXTREMELY biased. |

This isnt about the crimea exactly or the people in both sides although russia has a moral higher ground as it seems This is about the US trying to isolate russia from the beginning and not wanting old soviet terrorities back in russian control, the US and EU toppled a government , then broke a couple international laws apparently then russia found out as it was happening and reacted in a brilliant manner, and the US goal the whole time was to put a sqeeze or economical relief off of russias oil choke, and NATO also had interests, and now the stance from the west is russia is breaking international law, notice what the US has been doing the last what 30 years? Putin is playing chess, and Obama is playing checkers
As for the ukraine, never should of gave up their nukes xd |

| If Crimeans would want to be russian then they should leave Ukraine and go into Russia.Ukraine has earned its land.Russia is clearly taking it away from them.Recently they got kicked out of the G8. I'm pretty sure Russia is smart enough to not war Ukraine since it's a NATO countr.y |

Honestly; I'm not surprised, Putin has background in the KGB and Crimea housed an base for The russian first fleet if I recall. The issue is how they are going about it and how the UN & NATO is doing such an hatchet job of taking care of the situation.
In my opinion the US should stop throwing threats around and actually do something because from what I've read it's all "you're making an serous mistake don't do this!" as I once heard the best bluff is no bluff at all.
As for the election; he could easily be using proxies or his intelligence agencies to have an affect on those who voted. But that's conspiracy theorist stuff so let's jump out of that before someone lights the oil pit on fire.
Anyhow seems to me us at the west are playing things stupid and trying to bluff. |

@Hero
Um I doubt your a troll, but putin knows what he is doing lmao, more so than Obama .....
First of all, this is not russias fault, there are ethnic speaking russians in the crimea, they found out once again the US -EU toppled a government, russia acted on their interests and the will of the people in crimea
Oh and whats the barrel excuse? Notice russia has always had bases in the crimea? They never invaded, that is western propaganda
By going by your logic, the US is always at fault? No I dont think so (Even though most of the times they are , breaking international laws than enforcing it on others)
You seem confused hero

about 9/11
i personally don't think it would've happened if we had set up a helpfull government and the USSR left Afghanistan..
at the time we were supporting the Taliban, by giving them weapons to fight off the Soviets. Once the Soviets pulled back, the US left as-well.
But what our mistake was, was that we didn't help set up a government to help fix all destruction caused from the soviets.
if we helped, we never would've gone to war with the Talibans.

Yes, because taking part of Ukraine for no reason and causing a s**t storm is a really good reason to support Russia.
Hail our red leaders! |

you're forgetting draco's obvious bias towards the u.s., and how he blames the u.s. for the ukraine-russian conflict
there's a lot of funny stuff on this thread |

WELLLLLL
I'm actually concerned about recent events - the fact that Russia wants crimea so badly they would willingly lose their seat on the U-8 is pretty big. A little scary really. |

"Obvouis bias" >is american You either an idiot or an idiot, going with the latter
The US-EU were caught red handed toppling the government, so of course the US has something to do with it, I have no problem with the US in general, except for the hypocrisy ....
Do some research :L |

Anyone questioning Putin's intelligence in this matter should be shot.
We have Obama. He's too scare to lift a finger against anyone. He's pathetic.
Putin, as it was explained above, is, not to sound like a noob, a total bad A.
He has the most leadership capabilities in the world right now.
