| I don't think Poland will accept it. It almost sounds like Russia is trying to provoke Poland, even. It sounds to me like someone's just walking on the street and they see a guy get beaten. Then the culprit takes half of the money from the victim and offers the bystander half of the sum. That doesn't sound very friendly to me, and if I was in that situation, I'd probably turn the offer down and later call the police. |

| Or a good option would be to take the money and give it to the victim. |

Definitely not. Russia also asked Romania and Hungary. |

| Luckily, Poland has declined. Russia is trying to create a pro-Russian eastern europe, and Hungary + Romania are probably wanting the land. Poland is very smart, do not underestimate them. |

| I hope Hungary and Romania say no... I really hope so... well, they might not accept it, because I don't think many European countries want to be seen making deals with "the bad guy" in this conflict. |

| True, I don't think they would be desperate for land, it's a fine strategy to get allies, though. |

| But know who would be against Russia. If Hungary or Romania accepted half of the land, wouldn't places like the USA think wrongly of that? It wouldn't be a good way to get allies, for sure. Maybe to get enemies. Not a lot of countries are going to be siding with Russia. |

Poland was ignorant to refuse, if I were in that situation, I'd accept it without hesitation. It doesn't help the fact that they're a relatively small country... |

| Why...? If Poland accepted it, USA and other "allies" would be frowning upon it. Imagine if a war broke out. It would be the US, EU, and friends v.s. Russia and some countries that end with -stan. Also, it seems like a really mean and unethical thing to do. |

Who the hell cares? USA and other "allies" frown upon anything that doesn't advance their cause. Besides, it would make others 'frown upon' them if they went to war with Poland for accepting land. |

| I care. Like this can be a really bad conflict. The last thing Poland needs or wants is the United States breathing down its neck. It's making a deal with a bad guy. It wouldn't be very moral, either, as Russia's annexation is rather... uncalled for. Malicious. |
