Back in my day flaming was more than tolerated! BUT kids now-a-days will ban entire opposing forces for some of the silliest of comments--In retrospect, they use members that can't contain their 'flaming' habits or slip ups as an excuse to give their forces the upper hand during certain events.

IT DOESNT MAKE MUCH SENSE TO ME IF YOU WANT TO KEEP WARS FRIENDLY BY BANNING FLAME, WHY NOT MAKE HOSTILE BEHAVIOUR AS A WHOLE AGAINST THE RULES?

Flame gets annoying.
The main reason people ban for flaming is because flaming leads to:
-exploiting -cheating -spamming -other incidents outside of the raid
The reason for baning isn't because they are 'flaming'
But when you get angry by flaming you cause all these other issues. |

| Frankly if a base has rules follow them. I don't care how much you want to flame don't do it. TRA gives 3 warnings if you are kicked for flaming it's because you have an absolutely pitiful amount of self control. Admins should give warnings but the raid leaders do a terrible job controlling their troops (mostly) and it reflects poorly and makes your group seem immature and unprofessional. Whenever you question whether or not flaming should or shouldn't be allowed just remember this: JC Flames do you really want to be JC? |

AwesomeKiller, you have no proof that flaming leads to those things.

| my opinion is to script an mute and unmute command and mute anyone who flames for specific periods of times then unmute them |

80% it leads to it.
Flaming I consider is immaturity.
And I wouldn't a trust an admin of a 50 person raid who is flaming on his mic, to be 'qualified' to handle admin.
If you read ROBLOX's guidelines it also proceeds to not go into negative behavior. |

Considering every raid I've been in thats mostly the case.

Again
I find flaming immature.
I wouldn't want to go war with a clan which raid-admins bring out their mic and start flaming sht about your clan. You lose your professionality and maturity when you go in an all out flame.
That's just me. |

| Well, you all bring up valid points, but I still say you use a mute-script of some sort. |

Again, then people will complain 'mute-scripts' are admin abuse.
since apparently 'everyone has the right to speak' |

I also hate it when ONE guy flames, and the whole team gets banned.
What about the rest? They didn't flame. Sounds like an excuse to AA.
