(RP doesn't seem too tired of these yet, and I've been on a paratrooper kick since January. I've been doing a lot of research on them lately and thing I can accurately portray the occurrences of D-Day accurately. Hope you care to take part.)

Tuesday, June 4 1944.

RAF Airbase Upottery.

The men of the 101st Airborne await notice of the day they drop into occupied France. The mission they surely have been training for is, without a doubt, soon at hand. A small peace of paper is passed among the ranks, bearing an inspirational speech and a confirmation. Thursday is the big day. D-Day.

Rules:
1. The usual. What I say goes.
2. No godmodding.
3. Be smart, and you're less likely to get shot.
4. The acceptable weapons include
- M1 Garand
- M1 Carbine
- M1A1 Thompson
- Springfield Rifle (Scoped. One person. First come first serve.)
- Browning M1919 (One person, same as the springfield.)
- Colt M1911
5. All Troopers will come equipped with:
- A compass
- A "clicker" (Used to identify friendlies. We'll be dropping at night.)
- A canteen
- A bayonet (Can be used independently as combat knife.)
- Camouflage articles (Black Face Paint, Helmet webbing strung with strips of earth-tone cloth, One forest camouflage scarf-cloth)
- If I failed to mention it here but would indeed be part of an infantryman's kit, I'll add it in as they're used.
6. That's about all there is.

Name: Louis Astrams
Age: 29
Rank: Corporal
Appearance: Brown hair and brown eyes with a average build and height, Louis isn't anything really unique. He wears the same uniform as everyone else, but with the exception of medic patches around his arms and stamped on his helmet.

Weapons: M1 Carbine, given that it is a weapon more fitting for airborne troopers as it has a folding stock and lighter than a M1 garand while holding more ammo. Also a M1911 as a sidearm. Has no grenades however.

Bio: A med student from the West Coast, Louis knew less about Europe than about the Pacific and the growing Japanese Empire. He was studying medicine in the East when Pearl Harbor happened, and immediately signed up after getting everything in order. Due to his experience in medicine, he became a medic for the United States Army, and eventually landed into the paratrooper unit for D-Day.

Other: I actually made a good pun in the Bio section.

Accepted. I had to reread your bio to find the pun, and I was not disappointed.

Although, it may be of note that the Airborne forces are all volunteer, so you wouldn't join the army and be placed as a paratrooper unless you requested it. But that line is fairly open-ended so it may be you already knew all of that.

Accepted.

The Springfield Rifle has been claimed.

I don't think transferring to the 101st, particularly the 506th PIR, would be very realistic, but it's not a big deal. I'm just going to assume you know your stuff, hence the mentioning of Kasserine. It's chronologically plausible, so I'll let it 'pass'.

ahhh puns.

Name: Ronald Halwick
Age: 19
Rank:Private

Appearance: Standard U.S. Paratrooper uniform, refurbished combat helmet, polished combat boots. Freckles bombard his face, as well as the last traces of acne. His hair, cropped close to his head, used to shine like fire. His eyes, once alight with tinkerish enthusiasm, are now dull and shiny with anxiety and fear. He stands at a normish 5'8", and looks like he weighs 180, 190 pounds. A compass, canteen, and various other required equipment are clipped to his belt.

Weapons: M1A1 Thompson and M1911 Colt, standard fare.

Bio: Ronnie was born in a rough family. His escape? Machinery. The local junkman let li'l Ronnie tinker in his yard until Ronald got out of high school. During those years, he even let Ronald work in his shop. The junkyard owner, having been an old enough fellow to have seen action in World War I, told Ronnie his stories of The Great War, of his obtained camaraderie with his trenchmates, how they covered each other. How they protected each other.

Ronald joined the Army a year after finishing high school. As he entered the recruitment center, Ronald spotted some of his pals from school talking about joining up as paratroopers. Sensing the camaraderie the junkman had talked about, Ronald volunteered as a paratrooper as well. His parents begged with him to reconsider, but they never had a spark with him as the junkman left.

Ronald left with his eyes full of tears; not of what could be lost in the war, but what could found in brotherhood.

Other: tl;dr he likes junk.

When the war started his sixty four year father didn't even want him to think about the army, but Edgeworth, being the stubborn and patriotic typical 'MURICAN went and signed up for the army.

Name: Andrew Virgil
Age: 26
Rank: (I'd like to be an officer if you believe the Bio is good. But if not I'll be a sergeant)
Appearance: Dark skinned Italian heritage, 6'2, Black hair brown eyes.
Weapons: M1 Garand, colt M1911
Bio: In the younger years Andrew would be found in his yard playing with his friends in the country (Country as in the open space, I am aware that New Jersey isn't a Country) of New Jersey. His father was full Italian and his Mother was Polish. He grew up being hard working, starting work as a mechanic in his Fathers shop, eventually he was the manager of the shop, telling people to get back to work, he was known at school by 'Virg' and at home as 'Drew' or 'Andy'. He was known for his directness and slight stubbornness. He always got the job done he was always hard working and devoted. He as always had amazing self-discipline, pushing himself with ease. He never really thinks of himself, always thinking about others and taking care of them before he takes care of himself. He eventually owned the shop by the time he was 17. He had a wife and 2 kids, he was drafted into the military at 19 and gave the shop to his best friend, Jeremy, to watch it while he was gone. The army was quite surprised that he was so well disciplined before they got ahold of him. They were going to land him on Omaha, but deemed him too valuable a soldier to lose because they thought he could teach fellow soldiers his ways.
Other: Always seems to be wearing mirror tinted Aviators and has a thick beard.
