Color is made up of a specific visual wavelengths
like say... a green plant
the plant is absorbing all other color except for green. the green is then reflected into our eyes. and that's how we see.

Sure, but considering if there was no light spectrum, if you destroy everything green, would green still exist?

You say that, but the color 'orange' was actually called "yellow-red". The name actually comes from the fruit.

So the color 'yellow-red' no longer exists, it is now 'orange'.

without plants> no oxygen
