Color is made up of a specific visual wavelengths like say... a green plant the plant is absorbing all other color except for green. the green is then reflected into our eyes. and that's how we see. |

Sure, but considering if there was no light spectrum, if you destroy everything green, would green still exist?

You say that, but the color 'orange' was actually called "yellow-red". The name actually comes from the fruit.
So the color 'yellow-red' no longer exists, it is now 'orange'. |
