find 1% of the number (like divide by 100 or something) then find 10% 1%+1%=2% 10%-2%=8%

you can use proportions
For example
n 8 - - 10 100
Then do 10 times 8 divided by 100 |

Yo, get a calculator up in this bizz.
If you're finding 8 percent, take 8 from 100, thats 92. 92 as a decimal is 0.92. Then times 0.92 by whatevs number you got. |

i usually just take the number multiple by a decimal for example .23 boom percentage
