I kinda feel bad for saying that it's not good, because back when my mom bought it, she was telling me about how her and my dad were excited about me being able to have my own computer.
But, I don't intend on replacing this until it breaks. It's a 2012 windows 8 Toshiba.
Specs: Processor: AMD E1- 1200 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.40 GHz RAM:4 gig, 3.59 usable, Rating:3.5.
Prebuilt.
I don't know much about PC, but I wanna be able to play some games on pc, like COD4 etc so that I can play on it after XBOX Live and PSN get shut down. My pc runs like crap on COD World at war. |

If your computer is a laptop, then you're not going to be able to do much upgrading. In regards to your specs, they're not suitable for most gaming. If you want to play games on PC, I would recommend purchasing a new one.
If you can (and desire to), I would suggest buying components and building it yourself. It's not all that difficult, though it does take some time. I would research into what parts to buy, look up plenty of tutorials, get help from a parent, talk to people who are tech savvy. The work is worth it, as you can get a decent computer out of it for cheaper than it would come prebuilt.
If that's too daunting (and it can be) then you can always talk to people at a computer store about getting parts ordered and having them build the computer for you. (Though that does take away the fun of building it yourself. :) )
Nonetheless, I recommend a new (desktop) computer if you desire to play games on PC and have the money (or generous parents).
tl;dr: Laptops aren't really upgradable. Get a new computer if you can, and build it if you feel up to it. Make sure the new computer is a desktop. Google is your friend. |
