First off, it is a warzone.
There will be a fort accessible by the defenders for the majority of the battle, giving them ammo and more guns. Along with a cache of vehicles and other supplies.
Raiders start off on a beach, go over some hills, trough trenches, a small hamlet where visitors spawn, and finally get to a line of bunkers and defenses.
Past that is the fort.

To win, defenders need 200KOs.
Raiders need 150 KOs. The second they get 150 the Fort door will "explode" open, allowing raider access.
They will then need to hold the fort for 5-10 minutes to claim a victory.

Off in the distance, the defenders spawn in a train station.
They can spawn a small railcar or two, traveling to another ruined village, which is closer to the fort.
Or they can go through a maze of trenches and battlements.

The fort will not have a terminal, but a new system.
If there is a raider in the fort, the timer will start.
Two raiders, it starts.
BUT if a two defenders enter, the timer stops.
I.e 3 raiders - 2 defenders in fort, timer goes on
3-3 it stops
If all raiders in the fort die, the timer resets.
This means that they need to stay alive and hold out against the defenders.

another term that blows up the door sounds a bit more realisitic, since the term can activate a malfunction in the door, but it's your choice.

How about, the door is "jammed open" or the raiders just scale the walls and open the gate?

It sounds like it will require a long time for a successful raid, so don't make a time limit, or if you do, make it long.

It is a test of skill and a race against time.
Raiders will have an advantage when it comes to reaching Kos first, but if they cannot control the fort, the defenders will catch up.

It sounds like it would allow for your defenders to use greater tactics, which earns my support.

I need to re-draw the layout for the warzone.
It is horrid...but my builders make up for the lack of directions.
