IMPERIAL CODE OF MILITARY CONDUCT REIKSKJOLDSVAR
PUBLIC
♦▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♦
Hail,
The soldiers of the Reikskjoldsvar are bound by laws of military conduct to ensure maximum efficiency, order, and discipline on and off the field. All fighting men of the fatherland are expected to adhere to these laws, from enlisted men to commissioned general officers. In this document contains laws concerning proper uniform procedures, levels of organization, discipline, as well as minor areas in role-playing and so forth.

I. On-duty/Off-duty
The concept of being on-duty in the clan world refers to actively being on-duty within a certain clan at a given moment. The full extent of this term applies to uniform regulations, how to act, how to associate yourself, and so forth. Within the Reikskjoldsvar, you are ALWAYS on duty in the following scenarios:
- You are wearing your uniform - You are present at any official Navorgskan area - Talking to another soldier or superior officer on or off of Roblox - On a Navorgskan related forum thread
When you are on-duty, you are to adhere to military conduct to the fullest extent of your human ability.
There is typically a lack of enforcement concerning conduct when off-duty, or what is associated with being off-duty. It is blatant that being off-duty is the opposite of what is being on-duty, however there are still rules and procedures to be followed by you as a soldier to your fatherland to maintain its beauty and positive outlook.
You are expected, as a soldier, to present yourself in the most professional and mature manner possible when off-duty. As typical with sub-clans, they allow their members to run amok while off-duty, usually bringing shame and negativity to their reputation. You should show respect to your nation, and not disgrace its name in the public or on the field.

II. Uniform regulations
Your uniform is a show of your fatherland's glory and culture, as well as a form of rank recognition on the field. As such, there are regulations concerning uniforms to prevent annoyance and disorder in heavy combat situations.
- Silly or otherwise child-like hats are prohibited - No t-shirts may be worn over your uniform, with the only exception being official t-shirts; such as medals, authorized by a General or the Emperor - Divisional uniforms are prohibited - If an official helmet/backpack combo is provided, you are to discard your hats and use the provided gear if possible (with exceptions being the presence of heavy combat, as this prevents soldiers from focusing on combat) - You are to wear the uniform of your rank, not a rank lower, nor one higher (exceptions made in affordability)
You are encouraged to wear your uniform at all times, it is a show of pride in your fatherland and shows that you are honored with the position you have in this magnificent ro-nation.

III. Level of Military Hierarchy
A chain of command is most important in any given situation, as it allows coordination without confusion of who is to follow. With the Emperor as the most obvious highest authority within the Empire, the current military chain of command is as follows:
Reikmarshall [General] ======↓====== Overst [Colonel] ======↓====== Skjorr [Major] ======↓====== Kaptynn [Captain] ======↓====== Leuntnyr [Lieutenant] ======↓====== Gefreityr [Sergeant]
Men of the rank with Valtenscherr [Corporal], Kregsyrr [Private], and Rekrut [Recruit] have no official commanding authority. Valtenscherren, if permitted by a commissioned officer (Captain or above), may take command of a garrison/unit within a server if no other authority is present. These ranks may not issue commands to their superior officers.

IV. Discipline & Attitude
As soldiers, one must act respectfully and professionally to his subordinates and superiors. As men of an honorable and proud empire, you are no exception. An extensive set of procedures ranging from addressing a superior officer to other disciplinary laws are contained in this section.
When approaching or being approached by a superior ranking soldier or officer, you are to salute him through any available tool, or to verbally express it (ie. -Salutes-). If the current situation is hectic, it is advised to use the tool if available. When addressing a superior rank, it is militarily proper to refer them either as "[rank], sir.", or simply as "sir.".
When referring to the Emperor indirectly, one may use the following proper statements:
- "His majesty" - "His lordship" - "His eminence" - "The Emperor"
Direct referrals are as follows:
- "Your majesty" - "Your lordship" - "Your eminence" - "My lord Emperor"
When addressing a subordinate, it is proper to refer to them by rank, although not necessary unless enforced.
While on-duty, you are to adhere to the orders of your superiors in any given situation. Be aware and attentive, so that you may carry out the commands of your officers when they issue them.
Immaturity and unprofessionalism are prohibited at all times. What defines these two terms are as follows:
- Improper grammar - Immature phrases such as "noob" or "rekt" - Emoticons - Arguing and flaming; both with your comrades and the enemy - Injection of your life affairs into clan business - Online dating, other lewd subjects
... and so forth.
A controversial and unavoidable subject is a comparison of Navorgska to Germany, particularly in the Second World War era. With this in mind, use of the German language is prohibited while on duty. The phrase hail, as it is a common form of medieval greeting by cultured men, is permitted.

V. Acting as a Navorgskan
The Empire of Navorgska is an entirely fictional nation, with elements of Norse, Anglo, Germanic, and Prussian culture infused together as a basis for ethnicity and culture. Every soldier of the fatherland has lived under constant propaganda for their entire life, indoctrinating the ideology of superiority over foreign nations in all aspects, as well the promotion of the conservation of culture. As such, if you wish to immerse yourself in role-playing a Navorgskan, it is advised you build off of this.
There are no foreign nationalities, and names are commonly in Scandinavian, rather than their descendant Anglo and Germanic names.

VI. How to get promoted
Follow these guidelines.
While you are not advised to focus on attaining promotions within the Reikskjoldsvar, patriotism will be noticed, as well as following these laws.
