that's nearly an 18% increase in GHz. that's pretty large, and we're talking about a laptop. i don't think it's a good idea. |

| laptops dont have nearly as good cooling as desktops do. unless you are ok with potential permanent hardware damage i wouldnt OC at all |

plus, after owning a laptop with a intel dual core for 3 years, the fan stopped working. I had to underclock my CPU to prevent it from shutting down. |

I OCed my laptop only because I knew I could. The cooler is decent, and it was a very small OC, only a few 100 mhz
