It's not actually.
It's only recognised by Russia, so basically to EVERY other country in the world it's either free state, or part of Ukraine. |

Meta.
I'm not American. Also, it was not reviewed at all by the UN, EU or Ukraine. Russia is clearly having a fit due to loosing its President Puppet, and Russia is so corrupt its unreal. So the votes are not official by any country except Russia. |

@al BS. there are a few other countries that support the annexation of Crimea into Russia. these include Serbia, Turkey, and Georgia. read the news. the world is not just about the opinions of the West. |

Serbia and Russia have always supported eachother, for christ sake Serbia and Russia basically began WW1 because of their alliance.
And Ukraine has every right to attack, Russia ANNEXED Ukraine, the vote could have been rigged so easily that it should be redone. And to be honest, Russia is only supported by some because it supplies oil, without Russia supplying oil the EU would have done more about this. |

" Serbia and Russia have always supported eachother, for christ sake Serbia and Russia basically began WW1 because of their alliance. "
More BS. Serbia and Russia have not always liked each other. back in the old days, when Serbia was Yugoslavia and Russia was USSR, they both hated each other very much, even though both of them were communist. in fact, Serbia only came to the help of Russia this time because the Serbians are enemies of the Tatars. the Tatars are the local inhabitants of Ukraine.
"And Ukraine has every right to attack, Russia ANNEXED Ukraine, the vote could have been rigged so easily that it should be redone. And to be honest, Russia is only supported by some because it supplies oil, without Russia supplying oil the EU would have done more about this."
first of all, Crimea made the vote BEFORE Russia began to start moving in. also, Crimea was always filled with Russian supporters. when the USSR was beginning to fall, Crimea was there to make sure that Russian communism was still thriving. Crimea was the last point of support after Moldova fell. Crimea had Russians ever since many years ago. |

@Hex
I don't get it.
@Meta
Didn't Russia give it away? Russia gave away one of their last supporters? And now they wan't it back because they can't control, for the past phew days I haven't agree'd with what Russia's done, but it's getting to point where I'm just like "Russia just take it." Because to be honest, Ukraine would be better without the mess Crimea would cause. |

@Althalos: Basically, the country of Mexico is a huge untapped oil mine. The current president of Mexico is trying to improve their oil-digging equipment/technology. Mexico might become a superpower if the president succeeds. Of course, some people hate him and would try to assassinate him.
Get it now? |

what do you mean give away one of their last supporters? they still have plenty of supporters worldwide. there are many Russians in the world, along with their Slavic brothers who will side with them. besides, the Crimean leader, Natalia Poklanskaya, is one of the best democratic leaders out there. she is responsible for driving Crimea into success. she supports Russia.
