I think kaijus are one of the dumbest subsets of science fiction. Scientifically impossible giant monsters, that could never exist in this universe, or even live in Earth's environment. Ever notice how there's no giant insects or megafuna left?
For me, the only valid Godzilla is the 1998 American version; it at least makes some scientific and natural sense. A marine iguana subject to several radiation induced mutations known to science. Besides it looks a lot better than the crappy Japanese version.
