Hello, I was just wondering about how much the building user interface has changed over the years. And I know, you may be wondering, "Why don't you check for yourself?" And I would like to! It's just the computer I'm using to write this thread doesn't support the current version (but it's my grandma's, not my home computer). I decided to revisit Roblox because I am working on a video game and I feel that working on some maps would help me understand better level design. I just wanted to know what I'm getting myself into before I even dare attempt it.
So, has building become easier or is it pretty much the same as it's always been? Also, if you have any good tips for me, I would very much appreciate it.
I thank you in advanced! *thumbs up* |

| There has been several updates that may, or may not make building easier. For example you can now change the resizing/positioning increments to 1 stud, 1/5th of a stud, or none... which allows you to move it, literally, freely. Uhm, you can now install user-made plugins, such as CmdUtl, which is an amazing tool for CFraming and such. Cutscenes have been added, as well as easy-to-create animations. |

| Huh, really? Wow, maybe I can use my spriting skills for the animations and whatnot. Thanks for letting me know! :D |

| Well, the roblox interface has changed a whole lot. I started off as an 11'er in my old account. Since then, I think that universes, DevEx, and the change of ROBLOX Studio has been the biggest updates. |

DevEx allows you to make $'s for basically doing something you like, developing games. You earn a set amount of robux, you exchange it out for $.
Universes allow you to have games inside of games... let's say you build a "game hub" or a "lobby", you can make teleportations to other games related. Good for a franchise or whatever. |
