I was wondering if there were any series titles that you guys feel are overused to the point where just seeing that title makes you want to move on to another series.
I'm not talking about the entire name of any given series (I'm not sick of seeing the title "Star Wars" or anything like that), but rather a word or a set of words that people have used in the titles of so many series that it just irritates you to see it/them anymore.
For me that word is "Chronicles". I have seen so many series that use that word in their titles in so many completely different genres that I now cringe every time I see it. It's been used so many times that it just feels like a 'cut n' paste' title to me.
Are there any title clichés that evoke a similar reaction from you guys?

| Overused titles have words like "The" at the beginning. |

"Adventures"
That word alone makes me cringe because it's used so often. |
