Were you trying to ask him to show an example? Or were you trying to tell him to leave? I'm not really sure. |

Ah, then I suppose I understand how you came to that. It might be correct after all. Sorry for jumping to conclusions. |

@wowgnomes I think you mean "あなたはばかではありません" (lit. "you are not silly" (in Tokyo dialect) or "you are not a moron" (in Osaka dialect), transcript "anata ha baka de ha arimasen", pronounced "anata wa baka dewa arimasen", or if you leave the last space out like you did, "anata wa baka dewaarimasen"; note the double a in the last word). The phonetic transcription of "anata wa baka dewarimasen" would be "あなたはばかでわりません", which translates to "you are not divided by an idiot" or "you are not divisible by an idiot". |

| Not exactly sure how one would program in any non-programming language (unless you just mean comments?)... |

@200AB He could be referring to variable names, but unicode characters aren't supported for that purpose in most programming languages so he's probably just using romaji. Or he's lying. |

@TheMycro You made some grammatical mistakes there, but I'll try to interpret and translate it anyway so others can understand what you're saying. Firstly, while the wa and o particles are pronounced as wa and o, they are written as ha and wo (は and を) respectively. So your sentence should be like this: 全ては未来を繋ぐかぎ。 Then, the subject of the sentence is 全て (all) and the direct object is 未来 (future). If I assume that by 繋ぐ you mean the present indicative tense of the verb "to connect", then かぎ (key/hook) has no grammatical function in the sentence. If I leave it out, the sentence literally translates to this: "all connect the future" If I assume that you actually meant to use the verb です (to be), so that your sentence would be like this: 全ては未来を繋ぐかぎです。 Then 繋ぐかぎ could mean "the key which connects" or "the key to connecting". The sentence then literally translates to: "all are the key which connects the future" I'm not sure what you mean by your sentence. Would you mind to clarify what you were trying to say? |

@caiks: I'm still new to teh Japanese keyboard. The sentence is supposed to be "Subete wa mirai o tsunagu kagi." @cow: No google.
