of course i do. although taxation is obviously imperative for a country's survival, it really becomes theft after a certain extent.
the government endeavors to steal all our hard earned cash to feed a bunch of plebes. what the gov. should do is enact spending cuts on all of our fragmented, duplicated, fraudulent, and wasted programs. |

Indirect taxes aren't theft. Because, these taxes only occur to you if you use a government service. In example the tax on gasoline helps keep the roads paved. You don't have to have a car (but probably should unless you're in a big city then it might not be so much of an issue) then you don't pay this tax. Therefore it isn't theft.
However I side with my home-state Pennsylvania Minority. If there is no way to avoid a tax then it is theft as you no longer have a choice to pay a tax or not. Therefore you're being taken away resources without consent therefore it's theft. |
