*face palm* You believe that oil has a certain supply?
Please. Scientists can turn algae into CRUDE OIL less than a hour. |

| They have been saying this literally forever. And it turns out we have a lot more oil than we did when the first worries showed up. So I am not buying plus it isn't a reliable source in my eyes. |

First of all, if oil DOES have a limited supply, we can just switch to solar and wind. So no worries.
Second of all, we sucked out all of the oil in the Gulf of Mexico in the 70s. We went back there and there was oil!
Third of all, look up the algae turning into oil on Google. There are ALOT of reliable sources (ex. NBC, Smithsonian, Forbes, etc.). |

| NBC is not a reliable source. Also as long as we keep the fish safe we will have a never ending supply of oil assuming we also use it moderately. |

| There are bacteria that eat oil. They have been doing that for who knows how long. I don't think they are going to stop any time soon. |

Even if that is an accurate projection, it won't matter. We already have hydrogen based cars and public transportation, and turbine, geothermal, solar as well as nuclear (Thorium isn't nearly as dangerous/harmful as the elements we use right now), are all going to be replacing fossil fuels in a matter of decades. There is very little for us to worry about.

They mean the current known supply, there are still many not discovered places that contain oil.

I am pretty sure the oil and natural gas from North Dakota alone will outlast that date.

| My country has enought oil for 80 years, but you are right. Oil ran out once because we couln't get oil from the sea and no cars were on the streets. The price for oil can get high in 40 years, unaffordable for the most car owners. |
