This guide is for the people who are starting to learn how to roleplay!
NOTE: Please don't argue if you already know, "We" get it.
1-Dialog If you were going to be a roleplayer that has been friends with a person for a really long time and you forgot their name in game, Say this: (What is your name again?) <--- Or any simular to that. (It's Jain) If you would like to say something, I suggest not to do run on sentences:
I got milk eggs and chicken and then I went home to cook them all while watching T.V while someone was helping me with food
You always gotta make sure the sentence(s) makes sense:
(RIGHT): I got milk, eggs, and chicken. After that, I went home to cook, but not the milk. I watched T.V while doing the work. And my friend helped me when she came/And my friend helped me when she went upstairs/downstairs.
You may also do this: "I give up." I give up. I Give Up.
I suggest to put what needs to be capitalized because mostly, you might get wrecked out by people correcting you.
If you would like to role-play by yourself with made up people, most likely do this: Boy:Don't hurt me. Girl: I was just getting a spoon. Weirdo. ------ You don't have to put your name if you want to speak unless you want to do this if you are role-playing with other people: {"RoleplayName"}: I would certainly would love to have a banana.
2-Action Here is what I meant: Grabs apple
Basically, that sounds like a person's name in game but lower cased "a". If you would want to do an action, here are the helpful tips: -Grabs apple- *Grabs apple* As you might say, it is only just added - and *. Basically, always introduce your Role-play info -Not Real Info-. They would always search you up and it might show up a person which isn't you. If introducing, ().
3-Subject Don't act like a person that isn't going to act what the game is suppose to be about. Example: A horror game. (Lets say this is a person) Role-Player: I am a princess from the snow. My name is ______ and I and so on, you see where I am getting at? You're making the players repel from you to role-play with you.
4-If leaving game Most people like to see movies that a person leaves with an exciting, sad, emotional way. Here is an that is a boring example of leaving: (I gotta go now) (I need to go now) ---------------- If you think you know when to leave, do it in the before last minute. Always ask if you guys are going somewhere so this right thing comes in handy: *I see a light gleaming through my bright blue eyes* Oh no.. *What is it? (I am doing the * so you won't get mixed up who is who, don't do it in roleplay though) I'm going to loose you... *Don't leave me.. I know we barely met. *Why does it- Ssshh.. Just close your eyes * -closes eyes- (Fades away) * Opens eyes * * It's too late now.. ----------------------- See how exciting it is? It's like watching an anime :-) But you're starring in it.
If you robloxians think it really helps, then let your friends read it too if they're new to it, too!
