I disagree with the following "solutions".
(1) "Upping the amount of tix per place visit". This would only cause the robux rate to go higher. Robloxians could then buy twice as many robux. Causing the rates to rise twice as fast. (2) "Putting more ticket hats up so people will actually start trading robux for tickets". This would cause "spikes" in the system. The TC would never stay stable long enough to predict a strategy for profit. Each time a new ticket hat went on sell, the rates would drastically lower, and cause a spike. (3) "If all clothing creators came together and only sold in tickets". The problem with this idea is, only about 10% of the Robloxians would support the idea. Causing very little effect on the TC rates balancing. If Roblox chose to make it mandatory, it just might solve the problem. It might work too well. More clothes are sold than ads, which might cause the rates a drop farther by the day, until the rates reached 1 tix for 1 robux. (4) "If only somebody would trade 2-3 mil tickets to even it out". This is only a temporary fix. Not a permanent fix. The rate would return to it's "norm" within 24 hours. (5) "Completely phase out tickets". What good is the TC without tickets? The main reason I use Roblox is for the challenge to make my own money/profit to buy stuff, instead of using real money, which is out of the question. The TC is a game in its self. No one is going to want a useless currency. (6) "DevEx may be the problem". Like gordonrox24 said. ---> "I seriously do not buy the idea that the DevEx has a great effect on the TC."
I agree with the following "solution".
(1) "I think that robux for ads is a very bad idea". Around 4 months ago Roblox chose to allow ads to be ran with robux or tickets. Reversing this update alone would correct the whole problem with the rates continually to rise. Ads should be ran with tickets only. Like it once was. Problem solved.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You guys do realize Roblox doesn't want to solve the problem...right?". When I first joined Roblox in 2008 4 tickets would buy 1 robux. Now it takes 20 tickets to buy 1 robux. This means new comers (mainly NBC) will now have to work 4 times as hard or wait 4 times as long with their daily tickets to become "rich" than I did. Maybe the whole idea is to make more Roloxians impatient, so they'll buy robux with real money.
"Tickets are worth nothing". True. Name one thing on Roblox that requires tickets only. |

You point out true facts and not just childish reason why not to. I respect this decision and I support it fully.
(I am amazed by your reason why not to.)

I'm wondering if there is a way we can keep robux in the ad system, while still achieving the same result.
As far as I am aware, robux are currently in the TC at the set rate of 23. With that set rate, it always makes sense to use robux in the TC as opposed to tickets, as you are getting more for your money.
What would happen if we made that static rate liquid, in that it always moved with the TC. So, if the rate was 23, your ad rate would be 23. If the top TC rate was 20.198, your ad rate would be 20.198. This would put robux and tickets on equal footing in terms of the ad system. |

| the real solution is to get a huge load of robux, and buying off all the available ticket orders, lowering the rates drastically, this must be done regularly though |

| The solution is not a solution for the trade currency going up.The user-made ad system has been here since 2011 and there was never a change with the trade currency until late 2013. |

| Let me say it this way. Most Robloxians that run ads have BC. The "average" BC member receives robux daily. It's more convenient to run ads with robux, than it would be to go to the TC and convert to tickets. The creators of the front page games rake in thousands of tickets and have the convenience of using their existing tickets to run ads without having to go to the TC to get them. Either way neither bought tickets on the TC. Third of all, how many Robloxians are "bargain shoppers" and looking for the better rate. Why does Roblox feel the need to allow robux in the ad system? |

@Jim
If only we had 1M R$ and 100M tix or so we could probably lower it |

| The ability to use robux in the ad system is, as you said, a simple measure of convenience. If I have robux and want to run my ad, I don't want to wait a half hour for my trade to work through the TC. |

| Depending on which rate you are using to trade, it can take quite a while. As of right now, I have a trade in the TC that I entered on Monday, and I'm still waiting for it to go through. |

| @gordonrox24, The "average" robloxian is not going to wait 30 minutes for his "limit order" to go through. He'll use a "market order" (takes 10 seconds). Plus, the "average" robloxian doesn't know how to place a limit order to begin with. We need more "market orders" to be placed. Not more "limit orders". The problem we're having now is no one's buying tickets. Everyone's selling them. Do you agree? |

This may be off topic but ROBLOX is mainly for building. |

| gordonrox24, I bet your "limit order" is on the ticket side. Good luck trying to get someone to buy your tickets with a "market order". No one has a use for tickets. Just saying :) |

My trade is in fact 9,000+ robux waiting to go through. :)
In any case, I would always totally advise against using market order. The money is quick, but you will end up with a terrible deal. If people are so poor that they can hardly afford ads, they certainly shouldn't be taking risk with market order. |

| The TC is shutdown without market orders. Limit orders are only bought with market orders. I'm assuming you know that. |
