god applies to beings with more than one god. Hence polytheistic beliefs. Greek mythology falls into polytheism. So do many other mythoses.
God applies to a diety in a monotheistic belief system. Examples: Christianity, Islam, etc...

Hahaha.
You'll have to try a little harder than that for a flamewar. Perhaps something that strikes a nerve with more people or is incredibly annoying. The common misconception of the capitalization of the "g" in God/god won't cut it. |
