Steam has a lot of sales, but they aren't always convenient. Refunds are almost unheard of in steam. Origin has refunds, in a limited time period. Also, games that don't have mouse support don't have a note saying it.
Also, steam will take off your ability to sell items if you do anything. Switch to a new PC, a new connection, take off steam guard (Steam guard is really annoying).
The sales make up for all of it though

1. Although a refund policy should exsist, I haven't had a problem with a single game I have bought. What game doesn't have mouse support? If it doesn't, why whould it? It's not like you are going to be playing super meat boy with a mouse.
2. Steamguard is required for trading and such. If you disable it you can get your account stolen incredibly fast. |

I buy all of my games from Amazon.
I prefer getting the physical versions new, and they typically have better deals than Gamestop. |

Mouse support as in navigating through menus with the mouse, or being able to bind keys to the mouse.

I never use steam in my browser because of steam guard. Every time I want to log in, steam guard... Anyways, I've never gotten a steam guard 3mail activated by someone that isn't me, and i own over 1k usd of steam games. |

Steamguard works as long as you don't clear cookies. |

| I prefer having a hard drive that can hold many games than having a stack of video game cases i have to rummage through every time to play a different game |

"I hate owning virtual copies, which is one of the things I personally hate about steam."
step one: get disc
step two: burn game to disc
step three: have game physically

Origin is horrible... EA is too worried about people getting their games for free, or pirating them, rather than being focused on satisfying it's costumers. |

@Propeller I'm pretty sure the game would be damaged badly. :P |

The whole thing where you have to enter activation keys on Origin is terrible. I lost my account to origin, with my Need For Speed Most Wanted game on it, and I couldn't retrieve my account, because I never remembered the usern@me & p@ssw0rd, because I never had to login... Anyways, after that, I couldn't access costumer service, since the "Costumer Service" button is broken, and doesn't go anywhere... And then, I signed up for one of their websites with a forum, and believe me, LOADS of threads were complaining about activation keys not working, it's not like they had the exact same issue, but hey, look at how bad the activation system is!!! so frusterating... |
