The TC rate is made by the users.
That is probably just showing the calculated amount, not a value that ROBLOX set. |

Oh yeah the ads are eh..
They made it so ROBUX can buy ads, and ROBUX are worth more than the equal transfer of tickets in the ad system.
Shedletsky once posted that they want tickets to be for new users only. |

| I know, but they expected the TC rate to raise to 1:23 while it's still 1:20 forcing players to trade their R$ to tix until the rate stables at 1:23. |

If I'm not mistaken, that is the rate at which tickets and robux are converted for the sake of the ad system. I believe that number was recently raised when the TC rates were at 23.
I don't think we are "destroying" the TC, nor is it really on purpose. I think the TC has seen a natural growth in that robux are now a lot more valuable than tickets, and that makes all the sense in the world. If a currency can be purchased for real money, it should be worth more than the currency that spawns 36,000,000 of itself every day. |

Now everyone is going to trade tix for R$ at rate 1:20 and profit in Advertising system since rate there is 1:23... making tix more useless

I'm kind of basing my 36 million on rough numbers I can dig up, such as the 3.5 billion page views that ROBLOX gets monthly.
Of course, 36 million tickets a day would require 3.6 million people to log on that day. When we are seeing 160K concurrent players, it makes sense that we would see daily totals in the millions. Of course, now that I want to find it, I cannot find that press release that mentions daily stats. If I find it, I definitely post it. |

| If roblox lowered ad system rate to 1:15 the TC rate will probably lower to that much overtime. You guys are pretty much controlling the TC rate with the ad rate. |

I think that the roblox team needs to control the price of the ticket more and I mean by forcing the value of the ticket UP, not down.
more good ticket-purchasable hats should be introduced to the catalog to vent out the tickets and raise the ticket's value
also, no robux for ads.
Game makers get tickets for making good games, and making games is the purpose of roblox, so unless you're going to change the 1 ticket per play to one robuck per play, nobody will stop complaining.

| What incentive do we have to do that though? ROBUX should be way more valuable than tickets. Tickets are given out for free en-masse every day, whereas robux are purchased, and can be cashout for real money. If we are going to both accept money for robux, as well as give money for robux, I think it only makes sense that robux be worth a fair bit more than tickets. |

people won't stop complaining about TC rates until the mods do something to fix them.
it's unfair to game developers to give them a useless currency and refuse the up it's value when it sees incredible inflation.

| Game developers really aren't relying on tickets all that much anymore. With the combination of things like paid access, gear, game passes, and developer products, most developers are making way more robux than they are tickets. |

NBC game developers cannot use gamepasses, paid access is taxed (a lot), gear is not a sure thing and more often than not allows people to use overpowered weapons in a game where they are unnecessary, and IDK about developer products yet.
in short, NBC members must be recognized as game developers, and while the BC members are still to be valued due to their donations to help run Roblox's servers (and maintain the DevEx pyramid scheme) they can't be given the bulk of roblox's attention anymore.

and yet, 1,000,000 tickets = only 50,000 robux
what on earth?
one million place visits- assuming the place isn't BC only and you are saving it up, doesn't give you enough money for 100 USD on devex

| I guess my next question then is, if you are a good developer, why not get BC? It would open up more avenues to profit, and with more profit, more chances to achieve DevEx style profits. Once you've got enough robux to use the DevEx, the price of BC becomes a non-issue, as even the lowest cashout value will purchase BC with money to spare. |

another issue i have with the roblox team is their constant pushing of BC
yes, I know they need the money to run servers and host the site
but not everybody can purchase BC
rather than "hey, get this because you should/can,"
BC should be pushed as "hey, get this if you can/want to"
