| I took a trip to San Francisco a few years ago. Cool place, but the "Dennys" that was in our "Holiday Inn" hotel was overpriced. |

@Zegions Your poor but you have a computer and spend quite a bit of time on it. Where does logic come into this equation? |

I sit infront of the PC yes. I use the Roblox forums occasionally. If possible I avoid vacations as much as possible. Why would I bother going on a vacation to Europe when I could conquer it in a video game? That's ten times more enjoyable. |

I'm rather pale yes. But I actually don't go into my basement. It's full of scary creatures of the night. My PC is upstairs.
Why would you go to Berlin IRL? If you play Hearts of Iron 2 you can overrun the city as the Soviet Union and usher in an era of Communism! |

It's all a game friend. If you wish you could play as 'Murica and usher in an era of Democracy and freedom I suppose. |

I'll remember my PC games of course. I'll entertain my grand kids about how I was the supreme commander of German forces in the second world war and how I single handedly conquered all of Europe. Who would want to listen to some boring stories about me looking at sights everybody has already seen in photos a billion times before?
Video games are the future! |

Pfft. Who would want to hear stories about how I waited fives hours to get into a theme park then blew all my money on overpriced food? That sounds thrilling eh? Instead I'll fascinate them with the tale of Korea's desperate final struggle against the Ming juggernaut. A gripping tale of suspense and heroism. That's what the kids are into friend. |

@Cpt5 Firstly, taking a decent vacation requires a fairly large expenditure, not conducive to a small income. It's perfectly perceivable for someone to own a so-so computer, but have neither the money nor the time to take a vacation. That's where the logic comes into the equation; I'm saying that I lack the funds necessary to take a vacation by admitting to being "poor." The definition of "poor" is "lacking sufficient money to live at a standard considered comfortable in society." Because I lack the money needed for vacationing, something that's relatively common I think, I'd say that I'm living at a substandard societal level.
Secondly, you seem to be the one who's at a loss for logic. The reason as to why I have a computer is because my brother, who raises me, needs one for his business when he's not at his part-time job. Thus, it makes perfect sense for me to own a computer and still be socioeconomically disadvantaged. |

But in video games you can create your own roller-coasters! Or invade Paris and see the Eiffel tower while engaged in a firefight with the Frenchies. Who are you to tell one how they must spend their lives?
(On the side note I hope you do realize my posts are rapidly turning into more and more of a joke?) |

Hmph. Onto a more serious discussion I'll ask once again. Who gave you the power to decide what one must do with their lives? Perhaps I have minor Enochlophobia and am incredibly uncharismatic. Perhaps I am uninterested in travelling or find the concept of leaving my home and wasting time that could be spent more productively in some foreign place. Does that mean I spend my life inside a house playing games? No. It means the concept of vacations are not something I personally like for the most part. |

And what happens if I choose to live my life how I want too and not how you dictate I must then eh?
just a bunch of stupidity that i cant deal with unless in person. Ugh I know. It's hard enough reading this stuff myself. I can't imagine the agony you're going through having to think this nonsense up. |

@Mage, everyone are making good points except you. If you take trips, you can tell your children about going to see the Eiffel Tower or the Golden Gate Bridge instead of telling them about a fake soldier who watched the Eiffel Tower fall or the Empire State Building fall. You play video games over and over agian, but vacations could be only once. Video games get boring but life doesn't.
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.” ― Mark Twain
“You cannot find peace by avoiding life.” ― Virginia Woolf
“Get busy living or get busy dying.” ― Stephen King
“Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination.” ― Oscar Wilde
Let these quotes be a lesson to you. |

Hm? I assume you missed the post in which I explained the majority of my posts were sarcastic jokes? Yes I'd prefer to stay home and play a video game then go to France and see the Eiffel tower. That's a personal choice that I make because of my dislike of crowds and Uncharismatic nature. This doesn't mean I'm some sort of obsessed fan of video games who treats them as more important then life itself. Nor am I somebody who lives entirely indoors playing games. There is a difference between not wanting to travel on a vacation and spending ones life entirely indoors.
I really need to remind myself Sarcasm doesn't work on the Internet.
