exid just thought it would be a pretty cool name
they're not based off of the weimar republic or anything though new weimar already came to dominate the ww2 genre but they don't want to put up with how awful the community is so they're actually going to be involved with clans that aren't bad |

oh i guess since dutch and german have similar ways of pronounciating, I never realised the pronounication of 'w' is different in other countries

It's really not a 'vee'. It's more of a softer version of a 'w' in English. It's more like 'whee'.
For example, the word 'warum' (why) in german would be pronounced like: wahr - um
If you have an english tongue it'd be more like: war - um
hard to explain, go to germany to see for yourself
