Hi guys. I got some complaints about the controls. They are confusing, according to what I heard. I need your help on making it better.
-Why are the controls confusing (and maybe annoying) ? -How would you map the controls?
The game does at least need the following controls;
-Change default action [r] -Do default action [f / left mouse if no tool is equipped] -Left tool change action [q] -Left tool do action [left mouse] -Right tool change action [e] -Right tool do action [e]
Furthermore, are there more annoying controls? Do you find it annoying to zoom out when you try to create things with your hammerstone? How would you like then for me to fix it?
Please be as detailed as possible. This is a huge help, thanks beforehand! |

| i was thinking that if you had an empty hand and clicked on a harvested item or a harvestable item with your bare hands that you will be able to move it. but if you add a in-game guide explaining the control and a customizable menu as well then i guess changing it would make no difference. |

| Instead of all of the hotkeys, just make it so you can click the guis. People don't like hotkeys until they know everything well enough. |

Xulp then help me on that.
If I make the GUIs clickable, then when exactly does a GUI have to update? If I am hovering over an apple which is on a branch and try to select a new apple but meanwhile hover over the branch, how would I detect if someone wants to change the action or to really want to do something with the branch?
This controlling ain't all that simple, but I can't just make the GUIs clickable. Do you have a solution for this problem? |

| I meant that primarily for tools. But for that, maybe if you click, the options appear? Maybe like a billboard guy or it just disappears when you move or something. |

| I liked how in stranded: episode one it was all clicking. So, maybe let us be able to click the buttons to do stuff (mouse over branch, click to snap.) |

I know how you can do what Xulp says. Make it so you can click stuff, and when you do, it locks the gui in place, allowing you to click on its contents. After, click somewheres else and it reverts to normal. |

| I'd Much rather have the hotkeys. I'd recommend adding an in-game manual for the new players since people are really fond of ignoring the description of the game, so they miss the guides. |
