Does Ron Paul think that the government should stay out of LGBT and legalize? or is he against it? Please reply in simple terms |

| I believe he was personally against it, but he wanted to leave it up to the states to decide. I could be wrong. |

Leave it up to the states. Amendment 10 of the Bill of Rights states that:
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
Nowhere in the Constitution does it say the Federal Government has the right to decide issues such as marriage, so leave it to the states. If I wanted to be a complete conservative ideologue, I might say something like "no LGBT marriage in all states" but that isn't fair for the other side. |
