So I've been watching Grimm lately, and I've been thinking about making a medieval fantasy RP with a similar concept, where "Hybrids" are loathed by society for their animalistic behavior and disturbing, inhuman appearances. However, I can't decide whether they change from a humanistic figure to their hybrid (half-human, half-animal) form, or change from their hybrid form to their "pure form", in which they appear entirely as animals but perhaps with some human traits.
In other words:
Human --> Hybrid? Or Hybrid --> Full animal? |

I love that show.
And combining would be cool
Human to Hybrid to Full animal. |

Could do vams idea, but it would need something to make it possible, like under extreme stress and adrenaline.
But I meant human to hybrid. |

Well I'm not quite sure how that would work.
See, emotions like anger, grief, or fear unlock their "inner beast", which would be the hybrid form or the full form. |

| Full animal form, though, may be too... overpowered. The hybrid form may be more reasonable. |

" Losing control of your inner human. "
Pretty much going full beast means going insane |

I would actually go for humans. Just humans. They don't change in any physical way, but their mental characteristics lead people to believe they are actual "wolves" or whatever mythical creature...
If you don't like my idea then I pick:
Humans--> Hybrids |

| Well, Wifi, the Hybrids are actually based off of generic animals, some of which are less harmful than others. I mean, I have turtles and jackrabbits in the list among, lions, tigers, and bears. Oh my. |

Is Grimm a fairy-tail murder mystery thing? Or is it just animals?
I might be getting this mixed up with The Wolf Among Us. |

| Grimm is loosely based off of the Brothers Grimm's fairy tales, but some of the creatures are supposedly based off other mythological creatures. And some are clearly based off of animals. And yes, it's a murder mystery-type show about a cop from a long line of "Grimms" that can see past a Wesen's human façade and see their transformation from human to creature. |

Okay so we have a similar idea.
If you're going for animals then I'd say go for Human to Hybrid, but I would say fairy tail creatures will be a lot more interesting.
This really reminds me of that one book with the kids transforming into animals as the cover. |

| I could use both, just to give RPers a variety. |
