---Starter Dragon Eggs (Species)
Eastern Dragon - The wise and mysterious Eastern’s are the most thoughtful and intelligent among the dragons. They are very peaceful beings, making others feel at ease when around them. They are very tolerant and considerate to others, brown and red scales creatings unique designs.
Western Dragon - The confident Western’s are very trustworthy. They like to be kept active because of their large energy reserves and can be impatient at times. Adventurous in nature and daring, they can be quite a handful if not raised properly, their scales consist of a black and red.
Canidragon - The Canidragon is as its name suggest, a canine wolf/dog like dragon with the behaviour to match. They have an excellent sense of smell and hearing, and although quite small, being one of the smallest of the species, they are quite strong and robust little dragons. They have a thick, soft coat over most of their body, with small horns, and wings, although they are not a strong flyer, preferring to stay on the ground most of the time where they are excellent runners, able to hold a gentle lop for hours on end, with fast bursts of speed when needed.
Lernaean Hydra - This dragon has 12 heads. If one is cut off, it'll grow a new one and the old head will still hiss. Even if you slaughter the head again and again. There's been a Hydra with the personality of of the Western Dragon ,but it's mostly ferious and dangerous with no doubt. The Lernaean Hydra has no legs or arms so it's very unstable. It slithers like a snake and sometimes use two of their heads and use them like arms/legs if injured.
Plesiodragon - The Plesiodragon is a deep water dweller, spending most of its life underwater. They rise to the surface to breathe air, storing huge amounts of oxygen to enable them to stay underwater for long periods of time, even sleeping for short intervals underwater. They hunt and navigate the dark depths using echolocation, using a complex burst of clicking sounds. They are graceful underwater, using their flippers to literally fly through the water, or just cruising the deep depths, but when on land they can appear clumsy, the flippers allowing only limited mobility. They can only stay out of the water for a day maximum, needing to drink plenty of water as they quickly dehydrate. These gentle giants are the biggest dragon species found so far.
Dark Dragon - The mysterious Dark Dragon is unlike any of the other dragons seen so far. To most, they appear to be arrogant, stubborn creatures, egocentric even. Most prefer to keep their distance due to their strange, dark appearance. But should one decide to befriend you, you’ll find that they are just careful about whom they trust, once their trust is gained, you can begin to feel relaxed in their easygoing presence. Although confident in themselves, and their own abilities, they have a hard time finding others that understand them and their ways.
Wyvern - The strong and agile Wyvern’s are competitive from birth. They never tirea of challenging others. Courageous and stubborn, almost fearless in a fight they always wish to hold a high position. Only those who are also wild and bold of spirit should seek to own a Wyvern, wyverns consists of red, blue, or green scales, twin teeth stick out from their mouth, which slightly curve, great for combat and eating.
Albino - The Albino dragon is mostly tan. It's quite rare for it to be a different color even by what's the type is. Albino dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun's harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar. It's believed that you can see it grow inside it's egg.
Balloon - Balloon dragons are so named because they are filled with a gas that makes them almost lighter than air, similar to balloons. However, they are not prone to bursting, as they are covered in tough skin and can deflate themselves if necessary. In addition, they generally are slow moving. They use their gas bladders to float to the tops of trees, where food is more abundant. They can shift their weight from their backs to their fronts, allowing them to reach leaves and fruit. Their only defence is a pungent gas they produce through a special organ that can put any creature to sleep, except another Balloon Dragon.
Canopy - Canopy dragons love to soar above the tropical jungles, and other densely forested areas. Their billowing, layered wings create generous lift that allows them to ascend effortlessly over the warm jungle. While their unique wings do not make them the fastest flyers, they are champion gliders. To further this end, dexterity, maneuverability, and grace are all judged by the females when selecting their mates from the males that can accurately complete the exhausting and elaborate courtship dance between the close growing branches of the upper canopy.
Coastal Waverunners - Coastal Waverunners spend most of their time skimming the waves along the coast, snatching up their prey from the shallow waters. They have developed markings along the leading edges of their body that help disguise them as breaking waves. When they are not hunting, they enjoy playing among sand-dunes and shallow tide-pools. These dragons live in small but noisy rookeries. Some stories say Waverunners can fly for days on end without landing.
Heaven - Heaven are one of the breeds released in the egg flood. They are portrayed as a blue and purple dragon, floating on a cloud. Their powers allow people nearby to become distracted. These powers have given many people the impression that Heaven can control and influence the thoughts of others. The creator of the breed, Lythiaren, has denied this many times, however. She says that Heaven merely emit an aura they cannot control- they can not influence what people think. Also, their power is not strong enough to distract somebody who is concentrating deeply. She also explains that Heaven are very sweet, playful dragons who don't have much of an attention span.
Gold - Horner Tangar - Gold-horned Tangars are a brightly colored tropical breed. They are primarily herbivores, and eat a wide variety of fruits and flowers in addition to the occasional bird. Tangars are well suited to life in the trees; their slender bodies make them light enough to be supported by thinner branches and agile enough to avoid obstacles while flying. Their brightly-colored horns, found in both males and females, are used to attract mates.
Guardian - Guardian dragons have a large shield on the end of their tails. Although it appears to be heavy, it is light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.
Lumina - Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they'll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.
Moonstone - Moonstone dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow in with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moon's power.
Classes
Wizard - Wizards are Dragonologists who have the capability of linking their soul to their dragons, creating a special bond. The dragonologist gains the same power as the dragon has, the downpart is, if the dragon dies, you die, if you die, so does it. Besides having the dragons power, wizards also age slower than regular human. Wizards also have healing abilities, even without the bond of the dragon. Though wizards age much slower than regular humans, the oldest wizards lived to be ten thousand years old. The dragonmaster of the dragonologists, Darek Dragoncap, is a wizard, and an old one at that: he is six thousand four hundred and eighty two years old.
Dragon Breeder - Dragon breeders breed two different kinds of dragons or both of the same species of dragons. Normally they breed rare dragons to continue the existence of the species. Rare dragons must be discussed with the dragonmaster, to insure it isn't a darkfiend. Darkfiends are offsprings of dragons that cannot be tamed, and are often ferocious.
Dragon Trainer/Tamer- Self explanatory name.
Smith- Makes harnesses, carabiners, saddles, weapons and armor. The blacksmith's chambers are a huge forge built into the side of a nearby mountain, usually, dragonflight is used to reach the destination, because the cave is at the top of the mountain.
Enchanters - Enchanters are wizards not fit for battle, instead, they use their dragon's magic to enchant others' armor and weapons, making them many times stronger. To enchant a piece of armor, the Enchanter/Enchantress must use certain gemstones that can be found in mines scattered throughout the land. Gemstones contain diffrent properties, for example: rubies can be used for fire resistance/damage, saphhires are used for water enchantments, emeralds for earth, and diamonds increase physical resistance. Gemstones can even be combined to create new enchantments.
