| The Koran is fairly explicit that God considers war preferable to social tensions. That said, it does contain passages of extreme tolerance for Jews and Christians. Tough luck for Hindus. |

if religion doesn't cause war, then what have israel and islam been fighting over for the last 1000 years or so?
anyways, islam is not a religion of peace. there are harsh words that target non-believers more explicitly than any other religion, with lines similar to "kill the disbeliever, for he has...." the islamic religion marginalizes women, and literally says that they have a quarter of whatever a man does. it's also unnecessarily harsh in punishment, especially when accompanied with sharia law. |

| No, the Israel-Palestine conflict has roots from thousands of years ago. The actual physical affliction arguably started around the late 19th century or so. I guess you can argue that it's largely due to territory, but the conflict is undoubtedly fuelled by religious radicals who seek to kill those with differing religions. |

| Oh god, I'm a muslim and what you just said was stupid till the brim. The Quraan doesn't even tell you to touch a disbeliever, people have the choice to believe what they believe but Allah (God) gives a warning that disbelievers will go to hell. It's their own choice which path. |

| I agree it's harsh, but believing in something else rather than believing in your actual creator would make the creator pretty angry and jealous. So you really can understand. |

| Jealous means protective in the original sense, just to clarify :). And yes, Islam is a religion of peace. The code of conduct for Jihad is actually immensely strict and is more similar to Spain. Certainly nothing like 9/11. Most is self jihad, actually. Have a look on BBC Religions xx |

Islam is actually a religion of peace.
It's the extremists that give Islam a bad name. |

| Islam is peace it is just people (media) make Muslim's look bonkers. There is bad in every religion so if Muslim's do one bad thing whoa, expect him to be on ABC world news which is sad. The media could make a person amazing or disgusting because for some reason people always believe what they see. Also while searching for Osama bin laden they killed other innocent's so why didn't the people who were searching for Osama go to jail I mean, they killed innocent's! Remember don't believe everything you hear and always remember the media chooses to make a person good or bad! And we sadly believe it! |
