**NOTE: This is based on experience.
In Medieval Clans, they are more noobish but it's a more family close society. Good place to make a few friends.
Roman Clans, they have large egos (X~Legion IS an except, they have a more family close society as well).
Colonial Clans, they remind me of the hardships of the Industrial Age. Corruption is a big thing in the ranks. They don't promote soldiers on skill but more on flattery and who your friends are. A lot of the lower ranks are noobish but as the rise into power they gain maturity and a large ego.
Modern Clans, they are more realistic. Some are really strict and base a lot on real life military. Some are just hang out places where you can troll and stuff and make good friends. A lot of C&G'ers come from that part of modern clans, really.
Please be free to post any of your experiences with other time-period based clans. |

I haven't been in country clans to know much about their personalities but from my 4 days as an FBI in DC, I think they fit more under my description of Colonial Clans.
My evidence, I got into FBI with the help of an Ex-VAK. |

Sci-Fi clans fit more under modern clans as well.
I haven't been in an average Sci-Fi clan long enough but I can tell you that VAK is more strict and have a somewhat family close relation. |
