Who cares about Europe? When did US become their mother?
I don't want another war because the war will lower the economy.
Fun fact, the US spent more than $800 million just for Iraq. That's almost as much as for WWII. |

1-Putin is trying to clean Yanukovych's mess. He'll restore the peace then leave.
2-The United States should stop meddling in others' business.
3-War is very unlikely.

Arliss, are you a freaking idiot?
Russia isn't a communist nation anymore. The most communist country is China, but that's only 1/3rd of it. |

@Summer
Oh yeah? We helped them in WWI, WWII, we had the cold war (which the US played a BIG part of), we had the Korean War, the Vietnam War, issues with Russia over the middle east.
When did Europe ever help us this much? |

Like I said Arliss
If we go into isolationism from Europe, we could focus on the Western Hemisphere.
Personally, Cuba isn't a really big threat at the moment, but if they do say anything big, then conflict will ensue. |

and then i found five dollars
isolationism would be great if every country decided not to do it at the same time (reason why germany expanded in 1940s)
however, isolationism won't happen with the us due to foreign affairs |

Let me take a moment to let you know what the United States of America stands for. We fight for the freedom of everyone. We believe that everyone on the planet should have freedom, but that can't always happen. The Ukraine for the most part is a free nation... and Russia is deciding to run in and take it over because their President died? Sorry, that's not going to happen. |

That's why I'm arguing that the US should stop their foreign affairs (maybe just with military).
I'm also not saying that we should all just go into Isolationism. Just US. Europe can deal with their own problems. |

I personally go against that view since we should not worry about other countries when we should worry about ourselves. |

That is your opinion, but that is not what this nation was founded on. |

Russia and China are as close as brothers.
If Russia decides to use full military force on Ukraine, no doubt China will back Russia up. |

Actually Master, this nation was founded on fro Independence from Britain in the Colonies.
It's our past Presidents who expressed Democracy to other countries that brought the idea of "freeing" other countries.
Back then in the Spanish-American War, we fought Spain for Cuba and the Philippines. We didn't give them independence until a decade later. Especially when the Philippines set up a revolution against the US causing 100000 Philipine deaths and 40000 US deaths. |

America spends less then 1% of their annual income a year on other countries. It's acutally like .8% I believe.

So what you're saying is that we shouldn't aid a bleeding country that is being overrun by a dictatorship in progress?

True but more than half our income goes to military which is used for other countries.
It takes millions to ship soldiers across the globe. |

No, I'm saying that we should just wait and see what will happen. You see, is Russia going to completely dictate the country or is he cleaning up the mess?
And why did Obama threaten Putin without knowing what really maybe happen?
We're jumping into conclusions and the US is asking for another war all over because the Ukrainian President has passed away. |

Putin is an angel, we all know he's going to clearly fix the country.
No. If Obama died, would you want Putin coming to America to "fix it" now that the President is dead? |
