I want to reduce load put on the server, by making some things local, but apparently local parts are really buggy and unstable...is this really true?
What problems have you encountered while using local parts?

If the parts are only for some people they make other people look like they're floating or walking through walls
also I've heard they cause client lag |

Games relying on local parts are unreliable as roblox could release an update that completely fks them up.

I know that ROBLOX could and likely will mess local parts up, and that it makes other people look like they're walking on nothing.
But what about that client lag?? What?? How bad is it?

Its ok it isnt messed up use it, its just that it looks wierd when players are standing on diffrent areas
also if the player has a bad PC then many parts in local may make him lag |

| If a player has a slow computer then server parts would affect him more. |

| Woah... Local parts can be used to make different games for different people? I could make a game that has a max of like 6 people and make 6 different mazes! |

Guys, if anything, local parts would be less laggy, because they're just local. And OF COURSE if they had a worse computer it would be more laggy. Unless there's something odd about the local parts, it should run more smoothly than normal.
So can anyone with ACTUAL EXPERIENCE post plz?
Also, you can have 1 player servers now, so 6 mazes for 6 players isn't necessary :D!!

The only problem I've faced yet, is the flashing player glitch. When you're into 3d person, you player flashes to invisible and visible. A really strange glitch. Let's blame Roblox.
PS. Funny, my game is called Encountered. |

You have no right to say we don't have experience, since your the one asking the question. If you're asking, that means you don't have experience.
Trying thinking when you post these things. |

| Yeah, but I've used local parts in my games so I do have actual experience. Even if he meant no offense by it, it was still not a well thought out statement. |
