Komodo Dragons This isn't actually uncommon, lots of people are attacked by Komodo Dragons each year. Natives and tourists alike. Tip for battling Komodo Dragons: If you're ever in a situation where you need to get away from one of these giant beasties and can't run away, take note that Komodo's WILL try and eat you if they're hungry enough. But komodo's are lazy lizards, they won't be interested in fighting you to the death, they'll just take a quick bite on your limbs then run away. Buuuuuuut Komodo Dragons have sacs of natural anticoagulant fluids in their gums :c What this means is that once they bite you your blood won't clot for days, you'll literally bled to death from 1 bite. So the best course of action would be to kick it in the face. Not very original, but the #1 priority should be to keep their teeth away from you, kick 'em in he jaw, snout, eyes, neck, doesn't really matter. Just make sure they're too injured or too fearful to make a lunge at your extremities.
If you're up against more than 1 Komodo (Which is actually much more likely than just being attacked by one) find a high rock or something and keep kicking them. Don't try and run though them -.- The lil' buggers are fast and they'll almost certainly try and take a nibble if they're feeling peckish. |
