U.S. Department of State --- Secretary of State - Executive Cabinet Member; oversees all United States and United States Department of State operations, diplomatic missions, cords etc… Responsible for United States Diplomacy and anything associated with it. (Reports directly to the P.O.T.U.S) --- Deputy Secretary of State - Responsible for filling in for the Secretary of State in times of resignation, transfer, absence, etc… Carries out same operations as the Secretary of State; the Secretary of State reserves the right to strip and powers if necessary. (Reports directly to Secretary of State) --- Foreign Policy Ad-visor - Appointed by the President of the United States. This team is the main source to the President for Foreign Policy advisory. Secretary of State remains the main Foreign Policy Advisor. (Reports directly to the P.O.T.U.S) --- Ambassador - A qualified US Citizen responsible for carrying out diplomatic missions assigned by the Secretary of State or Deputy Secretary of State. May be sent to work on an alliance, treaty, conflict issue, etc… And to appoint Diplomatic Assistants(Employee’s) (Reports Secretary of State and Deputy Secretary of State)
