| Look at other building websites. They have no free models yet people tend to enjoy their website more because they spend time on the website building rather than using other people's work. |

If you take a look at the front page, you will see that it lacks creativity and originality, removing free models would force people to use their minds and create something cool and awesome.
Instead of just scrolling trough pages of other peoples work and then earn useless pixel hats just to take up space on the front page. |

| The only people who'd rage like that would be freemodelers. We don't need them anyways. |

This is definitely a discussion that should be had. Do we want to give people the option to earn robux and tickets for their creations? I think the answer is yes, and no.
Yes, because we want to reward people who make cool things. If I spend a lot of time making models, I would probably want to be able to sell them to increase the profitability of my creations, and that is very fair.
No, because free models are such a great learning tool, that making them paid may stifle the learning curve of up and coming developers, and we want to encourage up and coming developers, not slow them down. |

Naruto9200, Scootr never said anything of the sort, go back to your hole please.
I agree with Scootrbro. Freemodels are a tool for learning. I don't use freemodels myself, but I know that if I need help with a script; I can always pull in one from freemodels to help me out.
Yes, there is a difference between using freemodels to help you out, and using freemodels to publish as your own creation.
Removing freemodels is a bad idea. |

| If people want to use free models as learning tools at least make it possible that you can not use the free models to make a game. You will only spectate that buildings and scripts can be used in solo mode in ROBLOX studio but not when you play the game. |

| You could sell models for a price in 2008 however people made money off of fake hat and so they removed it. |

| When you weigh it more people use free models for their games and not to learn. |

| Too bad this "learning tool" is making people rich when those who moved on from the learning phase are not earning anything. |

I, personally, use them as a learning tool. For example, I didn't know how to make fire until I looked at a model with fire in it.
I think there should be an option to make it purchasable, but you can still make it free. |
