Note: post tl'dr and ill be ignoring all ur responses as ignorantly as you ignored my own post
First off, I've visited a lot of forts. I could say this about a lot of other forts but I'll be using Vortex Security as an example.
And I explained to their members how their is unfair, which'll only lead to more flaming and arguments, which contributes to what a lot of people have been referring to these days as 'killing the clan world'.
'Killing the clan world'. A lot of people insist it's the obscene amount of flame and rage witnessed between clan members due to forts these days. This portrays forts as the deciding points.
A war between two clans is to ultimately prove which clan is better. Economically (advertising for recruitment purposes) Skill-wise (one soldier equalling three of the enemy's) Technologically (having more advanced forts to ensure everyone has a better time or just to show off to people that they can do something like that)
You're going to outnumber the enemy at their forts a lot if you succeed economically.
You're going to win a lot of defences/raids if you do get outnumbered but your members are skilled enough to handle 5/1 odds with ease.
You're going to impress people and show them that your clan isn't a side-job, that you are an intelligent individual and are interested in progressing your clan if you succeed technologically, which again contributes towards recruiting.
So wars are to decide which clan can handle money better, can make better stuff and has better soldiers.
Let's get down to better soldiers. Wars are going to decide which side has the more skilled troops. How should we determine the skill of these troops? Like with a final battle! Just a lot of times. An even battleground. A fair chance for both sides.
Wars determine skill. Raids determine wars. Raids determine skill. The best way to determine skill is with a fair fighting ground.
But, there are those people who of course don't like to lose. That's understandable. Not everyone is happy-go-lucky about losing. So they modify their fort. They change it a little. Under the guise of having the 'fort experience'! Running up the hill! Beating impossible odds! Defeating the enemy through determination and loyalty!
If you're going to be so serious about clans to insult other clans about what they do then you shouldn't be doing that at all. That's a cheap excuse to win wars easier. A cheap war to make your clan look better. You're exploiting the system and whenever someone says otherwise you respond with something a lot similar to what VS gave me.
So, after Dimaze ragequit Into The Frost and gave up all hope on defeating me, the invincible iron/steel man/fire/tree god, TH3L4ZYS0NG requested we go help him in his Tza raid on VS. I've raided VS a lot since they began working on their new fort. I had a bit of hope for it when it began, it was fair to a degree that you could rate it so even with the odd group-only door that didn't make much of a change. It had been about 2 weeks since I had last raided them. So, myself and Dim go, we're all making Creed puns and come to the fort only to discover that VS seemed to stack more and more updates onto the fort since I stopped raiding. Updates that made the game, in my opinion, 'unfair'.
HR-only, safe, secure passages past the walls that raiders had to fight to get by and a previous public door was now group-only too. The two gates blocking the terminal were replaced with a 20k health one that I don't know much about as I wasn't really that active in the raid but I'm assuming that VS could bypass with ease. Similar to their previous forts. Note that I'm basing this off the other group-only doors throughout the fort. Each marked with 2k health and open-able if dealt sufficient damage to, don't need to be touched (well, aside touching it to open it) for VS to enter.
So I explained to the VS present that this was unfair and that if they changed it, they'd be doing a lot of people a favor and helping the clan world for the better. Of course I was met with the usual response.
"stop whining" "dont complain" "lol hes raging" "Stop now or I'll have to ban you."
That's another thing that struck me as odd (^). VS don't allow 'whining' at their fort. If you went out of your way to search the definition of whining because you don't know it yet instead of associating it ignorantly with complaining, you'll have found that whining is what you'd expect if you sucked out all the C&G influence from it. Whining is a high-pitched cry, squeal or scream. Nothing at all to do with what I was on about. Not sure about the VS admins, but I for one never noticed my character screaming into their headsets.
Yeah. Apparently now at any fort offering your opinion on the fort is instantly classified as complaining/whining. "Think there's something wrong with our fort? There's not. You're just whining.". That blown up blue balloon held in the hand of the 'Benevolent Leader' of VS, Lilly, that has a big sticker on it reading 'EGO' is blocking the faces of all the people who just want to give an opinion on said fort.
well im done prob could have written more but really not assed and its pretty late u can reply etc but i wont respond til sometime tomorrow unlike some people i always welcome your opinions ;)
