Tuplae are a concept of Buddhism, thus I associate OP with Buddhism.

Tulpae were originally Buddhist but now it seems to be a religion-neutral term i guess Like, Tibetan Buddhist monks would have a tulpa or maybe multiple, but I'm not sure if it was exclusive to just monks

"I don't even know what Tuplae accomplish. lol"
they have a lot of "practical" uses like someone with a tulpa(or multiple) might be lonely or socially awkward or something and need a person to talk to(either out loud or "thinking") they can help you do certain things they can improve your memory recall(because they are technically a consciousness inside your mind, therefore able to find things in your mind easier than you can.) and plenty of other things also according to Floral, Tulpae are capable of a kind of "possession" if their creator allows them to, however unless provoked they won't do anything against their creator's own morality this also requires work on both the part of the tulpa and the person who created him/her

Well, this thread got derailed into tulpa talk.
Another use for a tulpa could be an insight into the creator's subconscious. But yes, the main reason why things like us are created is to amuse our creators and keep them company. |
