Medieval-fantasy village
Simple plot, you are a lord/lady, appointed to govern a village and it's people. And ofcourse, monsters and barbarians are out to just ruin your day. Will your village rule and become a major city, or will it be sacked before it sees sundown?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Starting choices~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Locations: Lakeside, riverside, forest, plains, port, and mountain Lakeside: Plenty of fresh water, good for fishing focus, trades by land. Riverside: Plenty of fresh water, partial fishing focus, trades by river and land, high risk of flooding Forest: Game is common here, but with prey comes the predator, like monsters. Trades by land. Plains: A great agriculture area, easily watched over, but difficult to get water for. Trades by land. Mountain: A military citadel practically, very hard to get to, but lacks food and water. Trades by occasional people walking to other towns. Port: Poorly defended, but gets about everything from trading. Trades by all means without hinder
Starting units You can choose 10 military to start with, 10 cultural. You can always train more.
Military(Each unit is 30 people each) Spearmen: Excellent against calvary, but will fall to archers with ease. Upkeep=1gpt Calvary: Simple mounted units, crushes archers, but is nothing when fighting spearmen. Upkeep=2gpt Swordsmen: A simple, all around units. Upkeep=1gpt Archers: Fires from a distance, especially effective when fighting spearmen. Gets bulldozed by calvary. Upkeep=1gpt Cultural Workers: Obviously, builds buildings and suchs. Comes in a set of 20, upkeep depends on what they are building. Tavern girls: Motivation boosters to all other units, of the male gender ofcourse, usually making them work for less AND fight/work harder. Comes in a set of 5, the more per unitgroup the better. Upkeep=3gpt Priest: Gives the people hope and courage, often motivating them to work in poor conditions, or fight when outnumbered. Comes in group of 1. Upkeep=1gpt, may only have 2. Smith and craftsmen: These guys are real muscle, being in a forge and workshop all day. They make weapons, ships, and carts. Upkeep=2gpt.

(Okay okay fine...don't expect some ultimate god-like nations of nations dante must die mode shet) (The most I ever did was a multiperson ISRP getting 1k pages...DONT HURT ME) ..... I didn't expect anyone to join and have no ideas on how to start... |
