Cohort System: Each Legio has 10 cohorts that consist of; - 3 Auxiliary cohorts, - 2 Cavalry cohorts, - 5 Legionary cohorts Possibly including special cohorts; - Imperial cohort (Praetorian guard) - Possibly more Duties of units: - Auxiliary: This unit used different weapons than the regular legionaires, they are used as an advantage over their enemies by force diversity. - Cavalry: This unit is used for support and flanking, cavalry play a important role on the battlefield. - Legionary: This unit is the main unit of the legio, they engage the enemy and use force and strategy to overpower their foe with the help of the auxiliary and cavalry -Praetorian Guard: This unit is used to protect the legatus, generals, consuls, and imperator they consist of the most elite and best fighters. This is a new system approved by consul Maximus Decimus Meridius (AecVector) |

| Very nice system could be usefull in a lot of battles.I thought cavalry also was used to take down long ranged units? |

| They can be, but Rome mostly used them when at a strategic/numbers disadvantage. While foot soldiers held the line, a planned cavalry ambush would charge in and cause chaos in the enemies ranks. |

| Yes and they would also have a split group from the calvary go attack the flank of the enemy |
