| To eat? Salmon. My cousin used to work as a wild salmon catcher up in Alaska so my family would always get high quality, extremely fresh salmon from him. Aside from that, I can also cook my salmon exceedingly well. Now that my cousin works as a beekeeper (my family also happens to have a beehive in our yard=free, high quality honey) I get my salmon from a (hippie?) store that gets it from the river 15 miles away. Fresh, local salmon well cooked... I don't complain. |

@Ender,
Because trying to see through the murkey waters it lives in is usually in vain the catfish instead relies on its sense of taste. Its body is covered in taste buds. It can detect prey through their release of pheromones and other chemicals. It can sense direction through which taste buds pick it up, and distance through how strong the taste is.
It is fascinating. Truly. Perhaps the animal with the greatest sense of taste in the world. |

| @Ender, I just looked at your picture of it. Perhaps I misinterpreted your post. My extensive knowledge on the catfish's taste seems to be pointless now. |
