Alright. This is how the teams will go in my opinion. So of course this probably won't be 100% accurate but I just want to have a go at writing a prediction of the FIFA 2014 World Cup. Don't write any rude comments saying all of it is wrong, as I jist said it's my opinion. Of course your opinion will be different.
Groups and the teams. The top two teams obiovusly go through. Here are the final group stages (after all group stage matches have been played) in my view.
Group A 1stl Brazil 2nd Croatia 3rd Mexico 4th Cameroon
Group B 1st Spain 2nd The Netherlands 3rd Chile 4th Australia
Group C 1st Colombia 2nd Greece 3rd Cōte d'Ivoire 4th Japan
Group D 1st Italy 2nd Uruguay 3rd England 4th Costa Rica
Group E 1st Switzerland 2nd France 3rd Ecuador 4th Honduras
Group F 1st Argentina 2nd Nigeria 3rd Iran 4th Bosnia-Herzegovina
Group G 1st Germany 2nd Portugal 3rd Ghana 4th USA
Group H 1st Belgium 2nd Russia 3rd Korean Republic 4th Algeria
Round of 16 has been laid out from the FIFA board of Round of 16 teams showing what role (position) the teams were in according to the Round of 16. Where P means penalties, [Team P] means Team won in penalties. Here it is:
Brazil vs The Netherlands (2-0) Colombia vs Uruguay (3-2) Switzerland vs Nigeria (0-2) Germany vs Russia (3-0) Spain vs Croatia (2-1) Italy vs Greece (3-1) Argentina vs France (2-0) Belgium vs Portugal (0-1)
Quarter finals:
Brazil vs Colombia (2-1) Nigeria vs Germany (1-2) Italy vs Spain (1-1) [Italy P] Argentina vs Portugal (1-0)
Semi-finals:
Brazil vs Germany (1-2) Italy vs Argentina (3-2)
Final:
Italy vs Germany (1-2) ----------------------------------------
I updated my prediction as previously many people did disagree with it and also the fact that I didn't mean to put some teams where they were. I hope this update is a little better for you guys but again, it's my opinion so you lot would've different opinions. We'll just have to wait and see. |

A lot of people saying Ghana or USA will go through. Neither in my opinion. USA moght turn out 3rd in group stage but I do not think they will make it through.

I hate it when people under-estimate USA, when their own country will probably do worse (OR ISNT EVEN IN THE WORLD CUP)

I agree Devu, USA are a good team. But judging by the group their own, I don't really have much hope of them going through.

If you think USA will go through over Portugal and Germany you are deluded.

As I said Fedley, USA have little hope of going through as they are in a tough group.

nonrugsalt if you say this is a joke, obviously you don't watch football. I watch national teams every game they play, I don't watch clubs. Besides what's the joke? This is a decent prediction :/
