So I've retextured a mesh, but when I copy and paste the Id into the MeshId, for some reason, it shows the entire mesh flattened out on one side.
Is there some new way of doing this and the old way doesn't work anymore, or am I missing something? |

You should probably copy and paste it into the TextureID instead of the MeshID.
Read this for a tutorial for Retexturing:

| Yes I did that, however it showed no texture when I copied the exact numbers, so I did the number -1 and it showed the shirt picture flat and not wrapped around. Do I still need to wait for the texture to load or something? It's been a few days and it's still not showing the texture when I do the exact number, instead it shows stars (I thinkthats what happens when a texture fails to load). |

Thats exactly what I did, but it shows random stars instead of the decal wrapped around the mesh. When I subtract 1 from it, it does show the decal, but flat and not wrapped around the mesh. I also get the error:
Failed to load texture (texture link): unknown format.
The format I have is:

The Format they are talking about is PNG or JPEG. When you saved the texture to your computer what format did you use? |

| When you retextured, did you use the original texture from the item? You can't use a different one because it won't fit the Mesh. |

| OHHH I think I used someone else's retexture, so like a reretexture lol, is that ok? I would guess it is, but if it's not, how can I find the original texture? |

Watched the video and did as said, but still decal only appeared on one side, not wrapped around the mesh perfectly :(.
I noticed that the decal has white space around it and is on the upper left corner, could that be the problem?
If so, how could I fix this?
Thanks for the help! |

| Take the decal's texture and put it into the mesh's texture. |

You have to take the original texture and recolour it so it wraps around the mesh properly, not just add whatever decal you want to it. Is that your problem? |

No I have several accounts lol :P.
I didn't slap a random decal on, I redesigned it correctly.
I found that when I uploaded the decal, it shows the decal in the upper left corner with whitespace all over the other four corners, is this normal? Is the decal image supposed to cover the entire decal? That could be the issue :P. |

| Did you change the canvas size (I use Paint.net, so there are probably other names for the size of the item you are uploading to a decal) at all when you were recolouring the texture? |

| I don't think so, but the image always had that white space, would stretching the image over the white space fix this? |

| So jpg doesn't work for retexturing? I know it works for regular decal uploads, but not for retexturing? Why? |
