See the title.
Or not.
OK.
Anyways, the past hub, Roblox HQ, basically died off a couple years ago. I was thinking we could introduce a system that, in addition to the thumbs up, thumbs down, or favorite system we currently have in place, would allow us to write a text review of our thoughts on the game. |

| You already can. It's called the comment system. |

That's typically flooded to the brim with this sorta junk.
"OMG BUILDERMAN TOLD ME HOW TO GET 100000000 TIX AND ROBUX"
"Send me trades! [Trader jargon I'm unaware of]"
"Come to my place, [Place name!]"
"Bob is building an army!"
[ASCII hand pointing down] "Look out, (s)he farted!"
You get the point. I want this to be a different thing from comments, that would require you to stay in the game for ten minutes before you could actually review it, so as to prevent people from flooding spam in there. |

| I'm sure the "reviews" will also be some random comments. |

You raise a good point. So here's a counter-point.
Users can vote on reviews they like or dislike, as well as flag them.
Now, here's the thing. You cannot flag willy-nilly. There's a ten-minute cooldown during which anyone connected to your IP is unable to flag a review.
In addition, if a review is flagged enough, it is pulled from the reviews and checked by one of the mods. If it's deemed to be spam, harassment, bullying, scamming, or advertising, it is removed and the users who flagged it get a small reward, say, five robux, to encourage smart flagging.
Here's the big thing.
If you successfully flag something, your "Flag Accuracy" goes up, increasing the power your flags have compared to other users. Flag something unsuccessfully, and your Flag Accuracy goes down, which imposes various penalties - Your flags get lowered priority, the cooldown period is lengthened, and if you continue making bad flags, non-stop, you'll find that your flagging power is taken away from you entirely.
This would prevent malicious abuse of the flag system while giving users the ability to safely remove spam. |

| Or they could just implement something into the comment system like this? And I don't understand how a 10 minute cooldown for their IP would help have you never heard of a proxy? |

Forever, that's a good argument. First off, yes, they SHOULD implement something akin to the flagging feature in the comments.
And yes, there ARE proxies, and yes, that will likely negate the whole cooldown thing. You know what it won't stop? It won't stop said proxy-user's flags from meaning less and less to the system, since Flag Accuracy is attached to the user's account, and it won't stop the proxy-user's flag privileges from getting taken away if they keep flagging things that shouldn't be flagged. |

And I AM aware that there IS a Report Button to report comments which ARE spam. But since there's no positive reinforcement and a LOT of spam, most people wouldn't take thirty seconds on every spam comment fixing the problem. There needs to be, if not an official system, positive reinforcement to reporting this spam.
Small rewards, like a small amount of Tickets or Robux, or maybe a hat if you report spam consistently and thoroughly. |

| There shouldn't be rewards and once roblox made a list of the users with the most real reports of that year. I think they may have been awarded a hat too. |

| Roblox should take your IP in a data-base so then they can see if you're using a Proxy and sort the person out. |

"There shouldn't be rewards"
Then why would I take thirty seconds of my time reporting every single comment under a spam umbrella with not even a "Thank you for helping us!"? Jut, explain to me, why I should take thirty seconds reporting every comment without thanks. If I wouldn't do it, you can bet that a child probably wouldn't do it either.
"And once roblox made a list of the users with the most real reports of that year."
Once doesn't cut it. Not NEARLY enough. This whole system we have in place can work, but because it's a thankless endeavor, most people, who want a reward for helping out, won't bother. Having your name mentioned as being a good reporter is a small start, but that sort of thing needs to be an ongoing thing, not just a one-time thing.
"I think they may have been awarded a hat too."
You think, or you know? I can't really say much to this point in particular. If you can link me through to the blog post showing this, I will take a potato chip and eat it, but I need cold, hard, facts. |

@ipadboy123 Right so if someone logs into their account at their friends house they get their account terminated for it sounds legit. |

| I think what iPad's getting at here is that, if your IP changes super-suddenly, you would not be capable of flagging things. Plus, if the original IP WAS a proxy, it'll likely change again, rendering your point moot. |

| So if you ever decide you want to play roblox anywhere besides your own house you will no longer be able to flag reviews. Sounds legit. |

Forever, most of the site here are children, who will likely leave once they decide it's time to move on. By then, a good majority of them more than likely WON'T be moving out any time soon.
But if they are, they can request an IP change, which would delete their old IP, replace it with your current home's IP, and re-enable flagging. |

| Well what if you signed up for your account at your friends house? Then if you ever want to flag/make a review or whatever you would have to go to your friends house and what about the people who already use proxies to keep their identity safe? Most likely others would use that same proxy so they wouldn't be able to flag/create reviews because someone else probably would have done so in the last 10 minutes. |

I never said a word abut reviews being locked to the IP.
Only flagging.
Plus, if it IS a proxy, then your IP could keep changing and you could create endless reviews and flag sans consequence. If you aren't ready to take off that cardboard mask, you probably aren't ready for the consequences of flagging down things that deserve to stay. |
