[CONTENTS] - Section 1. Preamble - Section 2. Explaining What - Section 3. Explaining How - Section 4. Explaining Effects - Section 5. Closing
This bill will be presented with the title of "Military Expansion Bill"
[Section 1. Preamble] Whereas, military troops have been promoted way too easily. HRs are promoting people when they shouldn't. They are promoting because they feel they need to promote at least one person each training. No... no.. and no... This is causing some weak people to be O-3's. I feel that it is time to make it harder to be promoted in the military.
[Section 2. Explaining What] As I have listed it is too easy to get promoted in the USM. If this bill is approved, officers will have to be awarding a certain number of points to be promoted. Each time the officer is rewarded a point, he will add it to his current points. HRs will be keeping track. Being awarded points is like being promoted, except without the rank changing. The HR will decide how many points that person earned. Once you get a promotion, your points reset.
[Sub-Section A.] E-2,E-3 needs 25 points E-4,E-5 needs 35 points E-6,E-7 needs 45 points E-8,E-9 needs 50 points O-1,O-2 needs 60 points O-3,O-4 needs 70 points O-5,O-6 needs 80 points O-7,O-8 needs 90 points O-9,O-10 needs 120 points VJCS - Appointed JCS - Appointed VCJCS - Appointed CJCS - Appointed Secretary of Defense - Appointed
[Section 3. Explaining How] If approved, we will do this by keeping a chart. This will work because our HRs will not abuse. Also, if caught being promoted before time limit, the HR will be demoted and the officer will be demoted back to BMT.
[Section 4. Explaining Effects] By doing this our hiring ranks will be much more trained and skilled. It will also cause soldiers to be more respectful. This will help the HRs command them. It will also prepare them for tough wars.
[Section 5. Closing] If this is approved it will be put into action right away. Before it is put into action congress will need to approve it. I believe that this will help the USM a lot. Most of the people saying 'Nay' just want the rank. They don't like to work hard for things. This is wrong.. You should have to put A LOT of effort into getting promoted. Some don't think it will work. The President will help me do this.

Nay.
I say nay for this this purpose. I have been in the High Command of several PMCs, Armies, Clans, etc and I know the complications arising and I see the point of this bill. But if you look at the hundreds of troops we have enlisted. There are far to many to keep track of far to many to mark down. It would take forever and be confusing to every Officer and Soldier not already familiar with a Military setting.
If you want the military to be a hard place to be promoted like it should. A point system will not help. You have to crack down and act like an officer not a politic or strategist. No a military officer takes determination, skill, unbiased, and several other traits. If you want a stronger setting for soldiers it's simple what to do. Form a TRAINING COM and from there put every officer in the TRAINING COM give them tests, reviews, and other things. That will make Officers more hardened and trained. Which will in turn change and teach the soldiers to either be respectful or get out.
So we're clear I am not saying 'Nay' for a rank. I am not a military officer any longer. The bill would take be to long, hard, and confusing for most people in the armed forces. My proposal is a MILITARY TRAINING COM which can set the standards for an Officer and as reiterate in turn set standards for a soldier being trained. |

Nay, please make another way. The military does not sound like it's fitted to have a point system. |
