Why all the expensive "electric chair" and "shoot them to death" stuff? That's expensive as hell. Why not just get a blunt weapon and beat them to death? It's cheap, or not expensive at all, and it varies on how fast it is. |

| Actaully it is. They have to hire stuff to prove the crap that the prisoner did. Give them their last meal. To check the evidence; you'd be suprise a lot of people we're innocent and they got executed. |

| Yes but that's not the point, the execution itself won't cost as much. |

| Gas chambers are efficient and can execute many people at a time. |

| @Mid, yes, but what happens if there is an opening to the chamber, even a small one? The gas could leak out and kill everyone else. |

And that is bad because...? The more people it kills, the better! |

Doing nothing is most cost efficient as execution, but can take long and is terrible. By doing nothing I mean no food, no water. Starvation. |

@Mid Everyone including the security guards and workers. Of course, this is only hypothetical, because they would take some security measures to prevent this from happening, such as being a safe distance away from the chamber, and sealing all holes. |

Well, that's their fault for not fixing it. And it's really a blessing in disguise, because now you can hire better workers. |

| What ever happened to guillotines? They were humane, quick, inexpensive, and made for a good show. |

| I think the main issue is the fact that there would be no executors for hire, especially with your method. Even for the firing squad one person shoots a blank and nobody knows who so that the shooters could almost have a certain peace of mind. |

"because people value bloodshed and vengeance more than rationale"
It's just human nature. This is what made us survive back in the caveman era. If someone stole your food, you kill them, simple as that. When we did that, we made good progress. Even the Romans continued the act of killing and execution, and they were still one of the greatest civilisations of their time. |

| If you're gonna execute people, do it brutally and optionally in public. |

Okay you tell me. Where do we put the body? You can't just throw it on the streets. If the guy was innocent you'll have to pay the family about a million. What are you going to do with the blood that flew everywhere from using the guillotine.
>Grave
It's about 500 to 2k.
>Mistake of killer
Have to apologize to relatives and pay them
>Mess of body
You'll have to clean it. That's just nasty.
>Type of Execution
Depends of the use; lethal injection restock, guillotine check and made, etc |
